A spot near Südfeldsee, just a few steps from an observation tower overlooking the lake and suitable for bird watching. Access from both directions is restricted to agricultural traffic. The described access road is therefore not available for ordinary parking.

Unfortunately, access from both sides is restricted to agricultural traffic. We stopped at the previous parking area, which was absolutely quiet and ideal for one night. As of 2 June 2023.
This place has everything I would expect - slightly off the grid but close to the highway, absolutely German clean, connected to morning jogs or walks infrastructure, includes little place to sit down and have a breakfast (below the observation tower)
Nice place near agricultural fields, with a tower offering views over the lake a few meters away. There is not really a parking area, but the access path to the fields is wide enough. Fine for a stop during a road trip.
