Unnamed Road, 39553, Celis
Been here?
A large, sloped gravel parking area about 200 meters from the El Soplao cave, suitable for overnight stays and accessible to campers and motorhomes. The road is quiet at night, and the area has views, cow bells, and sometimes cows surrounding vehicles in the morning. There is one small concrete level section, but no water, and cattle may block access.

Fine for spending the night next to the road; no cars pass at night. When we went, there were cow pats everywhere, but otherwise everything was fine and peaceful. The photo of the caravan helped us a lot in leveling our van, since there is a small concrete section.
Very quiet night. Only the cows may surround you in the morning. An experience worth having, but be careful: they may block you in. Very good spot.
If you want to visit the Soplao Caves early, it is a good place to spend the night. We stayed there in the second half of August 2024 and had no problems.
Ideal parking area if you want to visit the cave or stop along your journey. Accessible to campers or any motorhome. Wonderful views, although it is slightly sloped. We spent a very quiet night. It is a large open area. Many more motorhomes can fit than the description says.
It is just a dirt area, but it is beautiful and quiet, with no noise, and enchanting under the stars. I slept there with other motorhomes and campers. The only sounds were the calves.
Very large spot beside a road that is not busy at all at night. Parking spaces are sloped but fine. Good for one night. Accessible to any vehicle. No water.
A spot on the bend of the road where several motorhomes can park, with only one flat concrete area at the back of the zone, 750 meters from the cave.
