This is a large, flat parking area by the Sound of Ness Coastal Battery, sheltered from the wind by a high bank. It has gravelly sandy ground, no services, and space for up to 6 campervans. The approach road is very narrow and unsuitable for wide or large motorhomes, although the area has coastal views and is close to town.

This is a great park up for campervans lots of room and sheltered from the wind ,,, Motorhomes would find it very tight at a short bit of road driver discretion!! Great views Very Rocky beach,,,
Good large area to park, 2 vans can get a sea view, if parked considerately, otherwise surrounded by high bank so good for windy Shetland. No facilities. Close to town. One very narrow part along the approach road, with a stone wall each side, so only suitable for vans, not wide Motorhomes. Coastal walk from end of carpark out and around headland.
lovely spot. an otter walked right past our van. seals a plenty. incredible
Best parkup in Lerwick. Level, nice view over to the town & Bressay, some walks & near to Tesco.
