Mountain-view parking, overnight with dining

Large private car park at Restaurant La Channe in Liddes, on the road to the Grand-Saint-Bernard, with views of the mountains, glacier and village church. It's a good starting point for hikes and walks, and the river is a few minutes away on foot. Diners at the restaurant (minimum spend 30 CHF per vehicle) may stay overnight in the car park until 11:00 the next day; lunch guests wanting to stay longer should ask the owner. In July and August the restaurant is open daily from 8:00 to 23:00, serving breakfast, coffee, drinks, pizzas, burgers, home cooking and Swiss specialities, with toilets available during opening hours.
