Boisdorfer Weg, 50226, Frechen
Been here?
Small, flat forest parking area with trails, suitable for an overnight stop. Nights are generally quiet, while walkers, cyclists and dog walkers use the area during the day and mornings. Distant road noise is usually tolerable, and there are a bin and 2 benches but no other services. Aldi is 1km away.

Small area in the middle of the woods where trails begin. It is frequented until evening by cyclists and people walking children and dogs, who are otherwise very friendly. Nobody passed by at night; you can hear distant road noise, but it is not annoying, so it is a very peaceful place to spend the night. No services.
Flat, very quiet parking area at night. Walkers pass by in the morning, but it is not bothersome. Very good for spending the night after driving. Dogs allowed.
Pretty quiet spot, there are walkers, bikers, etc. that pass, but not a big deal. Nice trails around, too. Aldi is 1km away.
Good enough for one night. We were here during the week. The next morning, people started arriving around 8 a.m. to walk their dogs. You can hear the cars on the road, but it is not bothersome.
Flat parking space, good enough for one night. Can be a bit muddy while it rains. In the morning there were a few people who came to walk their dogs, but we were not disturbed.
Quiet, with slight highway noise and walkers present in the morning.
There was dog mess next to our van and it smelled strongly of urine everywhere. Not a nice place, only use it in an emergency. We drove on.
Very good spot in the forest. Very little traffic, apart from a few walkers in the morning. No services, but right in the middle of the forest. The highway noise is quite bearable.
Confirmation of the previous reviews: the only drawback of this place is the highway noise, but you can no longer hear it inside the motorhome. A pleasant forest walk is possible. Bin and two benches.
Very nice little place; it is a shame we had to take such a detour because of it. I recommend it to others too.
