Parking by spring, uneven

We spent a quiet night. Until late at night and early in the morning, local residents come here to collect drinking water. They drive in and away slowly, though. Water can easily be carried to the vehicle in a canister via a wide stone staircase from the spring. The small bin is not intended for campers’ rubbish; take your waste with you and dispose of it in the village.

Great place to spend night and take drinking water

We needed to fill the motorhome tank and read about this small parking area with water. We stopped and it seems to be thermal water with benefits proven by the Universities of Vilnius and Saint Petersburg. Excellent! It is next to the Basilica of the Immaculate Conception, which is very beautiful inside. Recommended for a stop, to refill water, and also to make a reservation.

We spent one night in the parking area. There is a residential building next door, and its occupants drove past our spot several times. Some people also came to collect water or go for walks. Otherwise, it was a very quiet place. The church also has publicly accessible toilets, which we only discovered in the morning.

Drinking water definitely recommended. Quiet night. Sloping site, and when it hasn’t rained for a long time, water is everywhere, but you can get out easily :-P. Many locals come to collect water and go for walks. Lots of mosquitoes.
