Wittower Straße, 18556, Breege
Been here?
A spacious, lively campsite near the Baltic Sea with camper pitches, tents, clean sanitary facilities, restaurants, a supermarket, snack bars, and a large playground. Prices can reach 44€ including people and electricity, while showers and laundry cost extra; the small shop accepts cash only and has short opening hours. The beach and cycle paths are close, but evenings can be social and noisy, with late loud music tolerated.

Once everything was added up—pitch, price per person, and electricity—the price came to €44. A large, lively campsite. Excellent if that's what you want. Restaurants on site, a large playground, etc. Close to the beach, with all facilities nearby. Clean and fresh.
Beautiful, peaceful campsite. A forest hiking trail offers views of the sea on one side and a sandy beach stretching for miles on the other. The tourist tax includes public transport to Sassnitz. Sanitary facilities are good. Sunny and partially shaded pitches for campers and motorhomes.
Good and spacious camping with all necessary facilities. Very well located near the beach and close to bike paths leading to Cap Arkona and Glowe. Showers and laundry are paid extra. There is a small shop but with short opening hours and no Card payments are possible - only Cash (it is 2026 summer). Also WiFi and LTE signal is quite weak.
Clean and fresh, but expensive laundry and dryer service—the clothes were not even dry. Nice beach nearby, and the campsite playground entertained the children for hours. Lively and social, but quiet after 11 p.m. We paid SEK 800 for one night with a van, two adults, and five children, without electricity, so we found it expensive, especially since everything else was also expensive. Friendly staff on site.
Actually a nice campsite with some large pitches. But the guests are very loud until late in the evening, and the operator tolerates it. The food service from the spruced-up snack stalls is also poor. Anyone seeking peace and good food is in the wrong place. Anyone looking for sociability and a beautiful nearby swimming beach is in the right place. One more tip: Schlossgaststätte Spyker.
We are here for the second time. Very friendly welcome, as were the guys who assign the pitches. They ask whether you prefer shade or sun. If you don't like your pitch, the site manager finds an alternative. The sanitary facilities and washing-up area are adequate and clean. However, some "campers" leave the washing-up area in a state that is not acceptable.
The campsite offers a large and beautiful playground for children. The snack bar was also very good. We were less pleased with the many mosquitoes and the sometimes very poor or nonexistent internet. Some pitches are on a slope, so without leveling ramps you stand at a considerable angle. Overall, a good family campsite with minor shortcomings in comfort.
I cannot believe that so many people give this campsite five stars. Everyone is packed in tightly, it smells of chip fat everywhere, and loud live music is played until late in the evening—not at all peaceful or natural as described. I was barked at at the reception desk for speaking too loudly. There is also a very strange atmosphere at the campsite…
The site managers show you the available pitches and ask about your preferences. If you drive away in your motorhome to go shopping, etc., leave chairs on your pitch to mark it as occupied. You receive a Wi-Fi password with 5 GB of data free of charge for three days at reception. Once it expires, simply get a new one. The mosquito population is currently extreme; sitting outside is only for people in need of a blood donation.
Super-friendly welcome, which is a good start. We also liked the site. We could freely choose between shade and sun. There are not really individual pitches, but we think that is good. This allowed us, as two motorhomes, to park together more comfortably. The sanitary facilities were always clean; the only disadvantage was that showers cost extra. We would gladly return.
I agree with the previous commentators that this is a beautiful campsite with clean sanitary facilities. One star less because two people, a motorhome, and a dog cost us more than €32. That was disappointing, especially since others stayed here in 2025 with a motorhome and dog for €18. Prices have therefore doubled. And you still have to buy shower tokens separately…
A very nice site with everything your heart could desire. Prices are within the normal range. Sanitary facilities are clean and modern. We liked it here. The site has a camper shop with everything you need. The beer garden and snack bar were not yet open because of the season.
Great site with excellent infrastructure for little money. €18 for one night with a dog and camper is reasonable, although without electricity. The Baltic Sea is a five-minute walk away.
We originally intended to stay only three nights, but it became five. The site is large and spacious. Free choice of pitch, everything very relaxed. The wind should not be underestimated; it can blow strongly across the site. Sanitary facilities are clean. The highlight for us was that after the very short walk to the Baltic Sea, a long beach awaited us where our three dogs could run free.
The saying is actually "small and fine." Here we can say with a clear conscience: "large and fine." Very friendly welcome, well-maintained grounds, very clean sanitary facilities, and a camper shop. You really don't need more. Please don't blame the operator for the Wi-Fi quality or mosquito population!!!
I have been coming here for three years now, and it is always lovely. The cycle paths are wonderful, and the site is well maintained, clean, and tidy. There are no individual pitches, but there is still plenty of space and nobody crowds you—exactly how I like it. For me, it is a wonderful place that I greatly appreciate. A trip to Cape Arkona is always worthwhile too.
Very nice campsite. Everything you need is available. Wi-Fi is provided, but very slow, which was not important to us. The sanitary building is new and very clean. Very nice beach not far away. Small kiosk with bread rolls from 7:30 a.m. We will come again.
Large campsite with a small refreshment stand at the entrance, including ice cream. Access to the beach across the road takes about 3 minutes. The beach has many nudists, the sand is excellent and the sea is wonderful, although there were algae along the entire coast on the first day. Prices are typical for Germany. I recommend the village of Altenkirchen, about 20 minutes by bicycle, with several nice restaurants. There is also a nice restaurant opposite the turn-off to Breege from the main road.
Great camping in a great location
Very nice, well-maintained campsite with an absolute holiday atmosphere. We stayed idyllically under trees in the quiet part of the site. It was very quiet after 10 p.m. The location is excellent and the beach beautiful. You can definitely feel the high-season prices and the location, though. We stayed for one night and two wonderful beach days and were very happy.
Super-friendly staff; arriving at short notice after calling ahead was no problem—we immediately felt very welcome. The sanitary facilities and showers were very clean. A shower costs €1.50 for 3 minutes. Very short walk to the beautiful beach. Something to know and like: it is a very large campsite.
Motorhome pitch with everything you need. The site is great and the facilities on the campsite are good. There are plenty of clean, well-maintained toilet and shower facilities. Good value for money. Would come again anytime.
Great location for the beach, excellent sanitary facilities, friendly staff. Although the pitch is in the forest, we were on a huge open area without shrubs or trees between the pitches and no individual plots. It felt like a parking lot. There are no cycle paths towards Juliusruh. You feel as if you are cycling on the motorway.
Despite confirming by phone and having free spaces, they refused to accommodate us for less than 3 days. Unpolite staff behaviour.
