No signal and not very flat, but the surroundings are superb.
Spacious, fairly level site, quiet at night, with tourists arriving from 7:30 a.m. No services on site—no water or bins—and no signal, complete disconnection! Starting point for superb hiking and mountain-biking routes.
Very convenient place with lots of space and a view just a few steps away. Little shade, and many people arrive in the morning for the walks that start there. So it is not suitable for sleeping until noon! I suggest the hike toward Crêt du Chalam, which offers a superb view—1.5 to 2 hours round trip, or less if you walk briskly.
Very peaceful—there is not even any signal—with a beautiful view 50 meters above. Perfect for the night, with lovely hikes nearby.
Perfect, alone in the world....
Great for starting hikes, with lots of people passing during the day but very quiet at night. No services.
We spent a very quiet night. No prohibitions visible, but the parking area is not very level. No signal. Ideal starting point for the Crêts au Merle and de Chalam.
Warning: do not take the route suggested by Google Maps from Forens. It is an old 4x4 track now used as a hiking trail, with no exit.
Lovely place in November with the first snow. Very quiet.
Not much to add! We were alone! Perfect place.
Excellent place for spending one night or more. Beautiful hikes start from this point, especially Crêt de Chalam, offering a magnificent 360-degree view. We met hikers who told us about the site's rich history and recommended places not to miss. We will definitely come back. The locals are very welcoming.
Night in the middle of nature, absolute peace and quiet. Sloping parking area.
