Avenida dos Pescadores, 4920, Vila Nova de Cerveira
Been here?
A large, free motorhome area near Vila Nova de Cerveira, with free loading and unloading services. The town offers restaurants, bars, bakeries and petiscos, while a riverside park and ecovia lie beyond the railway. Trains pass nearby, although a recent comment found them not bothersome. The paved area is clean and generally quiet, but it can fill quickly around the Saturday market.

Quiet, clean, and safe parking area. Vila Nova de Cerveira is worth stopping at and visiting. Those who can may cycle many kilometers along the Minho River on a superbly beautiful cycle path. From 27/07/2026 to 02/08/2026, the area will be closed due to the town festivities.
A perfect place. Free, as are the water and waste services. The town is beautiful, with the aquarium, the riverside park, and more... A perfect ten.
Very large parking area with free services.
A pleasant place with services. The train passes by, but it is not bothersome. On the other side of the bridge there is an ecopath, park, café, and now in summer a splash park for children to cool off. There is a market on Saturdays, so if you want to park, it is better to arrive early on Friday or it will be crowded. A good, recommended stop.
Paved area, formerly a car park, with ground markings, slightly shaded by a few shrubs. We spent the night without any problems. The area was full, perhaps because of the market the next day, which seemed to be very large and renowned. The town is charming and has many restaurants, including the Central, which we enjoyed very much.
Good site with waste disposal, shade, and a toilet. Unfortunately, no drinking water. We only had a picnic there and did not stay overnight, but it would certainly be suitable. A free toilet is located in the adjacent building.
Very good camping spot for visiting the lovely little town. Thanks to the municipality!
Very satisfactory services. Ideal parking for visiting the town, shops, and restaurants. Thank you.
The services work well. The official area is small and on the truck parking lot, but the large parking area next to it works well too. Magnificent park on the other side of the railway. Good 5G phone coverage. Have a good journey.
Clean paved parking area with free services, thank you to the municipality. Very noisy because trains pass until midnight and start again at 6:45. Small town with a huge number of restaurants, but nothing special. However, the park behind the parking area is magnificent.
We parked and slept for two nights in the adjacent parking area. It filled up immediately. The railway line runs beside the lake, and trains continue through the night, although with everything closed they did not bother us.
We enjoyed two nights and the days around them. After Saturday’s market, we had an informal dinner near the parking area and a quiet night. On Sunday we cycled along the Minho ecopath eastward, had lunch in Valença beside the route, spent the afternoon wandering through the fortress at sunset, and played games in the camper. On Monday we hiked to the Spirito Santo and Cerveiro viewpoints, had lunch at LaKasita, and headed toward Bayonne.
A visit to this beautiful town is worthwhile, and a free camping spot with waste disposal is very welcome. It was Saturday and market day, so there were about 50 motorhomes, but everyone found a place.
Without a doubt, one of the best motorhome areas I have visited, 100 meters from the river and the town.
Good area, many parking spaces, level ground, emptying and filling facilities, and nearby bins, one minute from the town center. My only complaint is not about the area or the town for letting us park in such a place, but about those who occupy four spaces. Then it is no wonder they complain about us. A little more consideration would benefit everyone.
Excellent place to stay, safe, but with the train passing alongside. Do not park outside the lot; the police issue fines.
Many thanks to the town for such a warm welcome to everyone traveling in vans and motorhomes. Despite there being so many of us and some people thinking we are in a campsite, civility generally prevails. All services are available, and it is a wonderful town to discover and enjoy. Let us all contribute to the towns that welcome us.
Good place to spend the night; the town and supermarket are nearby. Plenty of spaces, and the bus station toilets next door are open.
Very clean and quiet parking area, with full services and a paid toilet costing €0.50. A very picturesque village with nice restaurants.
Excellent service area with many motorhomes parked. It is near the municipal market and supermarket, and on Saturdays there is a fantastic street market. The city is beautiful and welcoming. Spain is just across the bridge over the Minho River. Thank you, Vila Nova de Cerveira! Excellent service area, beautiful and welcoming town. I will return soon.
More a parking area than a service area, with a waste-disposal point. No charm, wedged between the village and the local railway. Quiet and especially close to the village.
Wonderful place to spend a couple of nights and enjoy the town. If you arrive to spend Friday night, there is a market on Saturday with all kinds of goods and an excellent fruit and vegetable market. Thanks to this town.
Many thanks to the town for the great site.
Good parking for spending the day! Bars and restaurants nearby and the town just a short walk away. We were there over the December holiday weekend and there was plenty of parking. The town is amazing, highly recommended to visit.
Area with many spaces, not only in the area itself but also in two adjacent parking lots. The parking is next to the town center. A lovely promenade with a playground is nearby. A very nice place.
The motorhome area has few spaces and is shared with heavy vehicles. It was full, so we slept in the adjacent parking lot together with many other motorhomes. In the morning, members of the festival committee came to collect €2 for parking.
Very well-located site in a pleasant area close to everything. Plenty of parking space and very good conditions. The only drawback is that the train passes a few times during the night, which may bother light sleepers.
Perfect place to spend the day. On Saturdays they charge €1.50, but it is worthwhile because it is close to everything. There is also a beautiful riverside promenade. Quiet at night, although the train passes from 5 a.m.; nothing serious. Fully recommended.
Practical, not very attractive site next to a railway line; no trains between 11 p.m. and 5 a.m. Good for a stopover.
Free motorhome area beside the Minho, close to the town, and easy to access. Pitches on asphalt, without shade. Water services available. The town deserves a visit, especially the walled area, where commercial premises are being restored. Quiet night.
