7 Rue des Falaises, 50440, La Hague
Been here?
Overnight parking is tolerated on the paved section; grass is for daytime use. Public toilets and drinking water are available. A snack bar and coastal hiking path with lighthouse views are nearby. The site holds approximately 30 spaces and can be crowded; parking enforcement is inconsistent.

Perfect. For one night, there was no space left in the paved parking area, so we parked the van on the grass at the back near the benches. Nobody came. Drinking water is available. Snack-bar toilets. View of the Gouri lighthouse and right next to the Nez de Jobourg. Magnificent panorama.
Excellent area for staying overnight peacefully, with nice walks and garbage bins available.
As mentioned in the comments, you must park overnight on the paved section. Parking on the grass is allowed until 11 p.m. Thanks to the manager of the snack bar, who came to warn improperly parked motorhome users of the risks. Very good fries and galettes. Otherwise, very well located for hiking or cycling.
Good for spending a few hours on a short hike, but very windy! We did not stay overnight. There is not much on site.
During the day you can stay on the grass, and in the evening, when the fixed parking spaces are free, you can move there; overnight stays are allowed there. However, there is nothing here—no service facilities.
Rules not respected on the grassy side!! Someone comes by in the morning and leaves a note on the windshield just because the step was out, even though I was parked correctly!! Others have no problem occupying three or four spaces without any consideration!! Otherwise, it is ideal for starting the coastal trail from this parking area.
Excellent location with a view of the lighthouse and bay, almost always windy. Toilets nearby and overnight parking possible.
Wonderful parking area with a great view and a beautiful hiking trail. We spent a peaceful night! Thanks to the municipality.
A pleasant but very busy site. Camping and setting up a caravan on the field are still prohibited; only motorhomes may park there during the day. It is a shame that some people do not understand that if everyone spreads out with awnings, tables and chairs, this place will soon be banned. For information, the gendarmerie comes by every evening.
Second experience: times are changing and caravans are now accepted, while we are asked to respect the parking rules, with a maximum of 24 hours on the paved area. What will our third visit be like if we return?
Beautiful pitch with a magnificent view and a lovely hike to the nearby Nez de Jobourg. A small snack bar is right next door, along with toilets and drinking water. I would say there are about 30 spaces, but travelers would need to park properly side by side rather than diagonally.
Excellent spot, provided you carefully follow the instructions so that this site remains welcoming.
Great place to spend the night if you follow the instructions. Very clean toilets nearby. Small refreshment bar offering basic food, open when weather permits. Garbage bins nearby.
Pleasant service-free parking area with a superb view of the cliffs and sea. A coastal walk is a must. Restaurant 500 m away.
This spot is pure happiness, with a magnificent view. The coastal path is simply fantastic for hiking; wear good shoes. Do not forget to enjoy the delicious wraps from the small refreshment bar near the area. Drinking water and toilets are right next door.
Overnight parking is tolerated as explained in previous comments, but this is not a parking area for recreational vehicles. People who bring out tables and chairs to camp are not acceptable. I think it is quite popular in high season; we were 19 vehicles there on a May evening before a public holiday.
Magnificent parking area because of its location! Lots of people, but the prohibition on staying overnight on the grass was still properly respected. Unfortunately, those who put tables and chairs between the vehicles have not understood that this is only a PARKING AREA, risking a future ban on recreational vehicles here. What a shame!
Simple parking area with a great view.
Wonderful place with magnificent hikes. Thanks to the municipality for letting us park overnight. Please make sure to park in the authorized area. We stayed two nights and the warden came by to issue fines to those on the grass, where parking is prohibited.
The place is incredible in the evening, with a magnificent view, but during the day it is packed with cars whose drivers do not know how to park. If you have a very large vehicle, it seems complicated, which is a shame because the hike is breathtaking!
Perfect parking area. Magnificent place. The Cotentin coast is truly splendid. Quiet night in the authorized section.
Parking area near the Nez de Jobourg viewpoint. You can take a beautiful walk along the coast. On the paved section, you can spend the night free of charge in a campervan, with a magnificent sea view. Garbage bins are available. On the grass behind the parking area, parking—and therefore sleeping in a campervan—is NOT allowed between 11 p.m. and 7 a.m.
Facing the sea, we spent a peaceful night in the authorized section. We were three vans. Thanks for this beautiful, peaceful place.
Sea view. Flat spot on the paved parking area. Ideal for one night after the loop hike around the site.
Very beautiful place, with water and toilets available. We spent one night facing the sea. Recommended.
A parking area, garbage bins, a very clean toilet, and water, for filling bottles only. It is a shame that you cannot sleep here; the municipality could make an effort. As for the restaurant, the staff were unfriendly and unhelpful: one service and that's it! Without a reservation, forget it.
Indeed, a magnificent place, with beautiful walks and excellent sea views. Very quiet at this time of year. I did not try staying overnight because Storm Nils brought far too much wind.
Unfenced parking area with toilets and a water point! Accessible to all types of vehicles. After a peaceful night, we woke to a magnificent view and very few people at this time of year. Parking area at the start of hiking trails.
We spent a wonderful night on the paved parking area. There were not many of us at this time of year.
Excellent place: flat and clean, with toilets next to the parking area and access to hiking trails nearby. There were about ten vehicles.
Magnificent view, splendid spot. Peaceful night. The access road is narrow but passable.
Good spot. It was busy, but the view was beautiful.
Parking area with beautiful views, very busy but quiet at night. Starting point for hikes.
