Lakeside pebble beach, troublesome mosquitoes

We love the place and keep coming back. The mosquitoes are currently very annoying.

Beautiful view, but everything was full of mosquitoes, which somehow even got into the camper. Unfortunately, we had to leave the site.

Great spot, no services, just nature. When we were there it was also clean, with no dirt or rubbish left by previous visitors. You can hear the road minimally; at night there is almost no traffic. Great view over the lake.

Extraordinary view of the snow-covered mountains. Very little traffic in the evening, none at night. Only one freight train passed around 8 p.m., and nothing afterward. We had a peaceful night. Dogs allowed.

Small undeveloped parking area with a lovely view of the lake. There are few spaces, especially since a seemingly abandoned school bus occupies part of the area. It is somewhat noisy at night because of the immediate proximity of the E6 and railway line.

This is a spacious parking lot but it is busy and it filled up quickly, so it is better to arrive early to get a place.

There were five of us here in total. It was relatively full, but everyone had a private spot. However, everyone should take their rubbish with them to help preserve this wonderful place.

Beautiful view, cozy spot where we felt very relaxed and comfortable. We were 3 and one caravan and everyone fit with good margins, so I would say more could probably fit. Silent from E6, however there were some trains passing, but none in the night that we could hear. Would highly recommend!

Very beautiful spot on the lakeshore with a lovely sunset and a view of the mountains. A little windy but no insects! Suitable for rooftop tents.

Very nice spot directly on the lake; you can swim and fish very well, and the road is not too loud either. Space for approximately four motorhomes.

Fantastic place right by Nordlandsporten. Very quiet even though it is close to the E6. The only negative was the extreme amount of gnats we experienced in the evening.

Incredibly beautiful spot. We were actually alone for one night. Wonderful view of the mountains. Unfortunately, there were thousands of tiny flies in the evening. They do not enter the vehicle, but sitting outside is almost impossible. The train did not bother us. The camper seems to have been abandoned for some time. Highly recommended! Suitable for all types of campers.

Nice place to spend the night, very quiet and next to the lake. The presence of the school bus is a little eerie; it should be abandoned, but in the evening some interior lights come on :) A little noisy because of the E6 and the train, but manageable. Space for 3–4 campers.

Actually a beautiful place, if only the campers before us had not left all their rubbish there. After we cleaned up all the rubbish, it became a nicer overnight spot. Please take your rubbish with you so places like this can remain available!
