Lakeside parking, busy road noise

There is an opening in the barrier. You can easily access the grass and sit by the shore, you just cannot drive onto it anymore, which is not a problem. A few friendly anglers came in the evening. Slept peacefully and a very good parking spot. Brilliantly located for self-sufficient campers. Fantastic view of the loch.✦Translating

There is now a barrier at the parking area, so the grass is no longer accessible. We parked opposite in a parking bay. It was mostly quiet, but the cars driving along here travel very fast. The view and peace are wonderful, however!!✦Translating

To be honest before spending night and morning at this place a thought midges are nothing terrible. This is lovely place with rare cars, water next to you, also fireplace, but midges are really something you don't want to try there. Maybe better if it's windy/raining... By calm weather never more.

Great location by the water, however we were woken up by the rangers this morning, who told us that parking on the grass was prohibited and that we had to stay along the roadside.✦Translating

Wonderful parking area, quiet, little traffic, you can go swimming and you are truly surrounded by nature. It was one of the highlights of our trip.✦Translating
