Quiet parking area at the start of a health/hiking trail (parcours vita), with picnic tables and a fireplace, near Buttes and Fleurier (20 minutes on foot). Weekday nights are peaceful with little traffic, birdsong and only distant train and road noise audible. Weekends and summer can draw more visitors, including families using the trail, and some evenings get busy. Dogs must be kept on a leash.

Magnificent picnic spot ♡ Equipped with a grill and a large table with a parasol. Starting point for the fitness trail and walks. Quiet place with little traffic. Dog must be kept on a lead.
We spent a very peaceful night, with only birdsong to wake us. I recommend it.
