495 Avenue Paul Eluard, 74190, Passy
Been here?
Flat riverside parking area reached by descending toward the small bridge, with space for several vehicles and the sound of running water. The busy road is close, making it better suited to a daytime picnic or stop than an overnight stay. The lower position reduces traffic noise later in the evening, but walkers pass frequently. Keep clear of the rafting turnaround area.

Okay for a lunch break, but I would not spend the night here. Beside a busy road. The photo does not really match the place.Translating
Beautiful spot to spend the night, the sounds of the rushing water drowns out road traffic
Indeed, a pleasant spot. Take the road down towards the river and go to the back, towards the small bridge. We are a little close to the road, but below it, and it quietens down at the end of the evening.Translating
Cute little spot, easily accessible, next to a busy road. Maybe not to spend the night but ideal for a picnic or stop during the day.
Excellent spot for two trucks, not far from the Abbey power station, close to the Arve, so noisy but not bothersome, and once the doors are closed you cannot hear it anymore. Frequent walkers morning and evening; do not block the passage out of respect for other users.Translating
Very nice spot by the water, peaceful. However, be careful where you park; at the back there is the turning area for rafting. You could be woken up in the morning if you are not parked in the right place.Translating
Much too close to the road. The photos have nothing to do with the actual place. It is clean, but we left.Translating
We arrived at night and did not find the place very safe (cars passing, someone suddenly emerging from the vegetation). Above all, the place is an alley below a road in an industrial area. Really only a last-resort stopover. We did not stay.Translating
