Camping le Bascat is a quiet, clean campsite with at least 100 gravel pitches, generally flat and equipped with water and electricity. Sanitary facilities are available, with a grocery shop for essentials at reception and prepared meals served at midday. The campsite is about 2km from the town, with no other nearby shops, and is mainly used by spa visitors. A recent overnight price was 20€ for a van and 2 people; arrivals are not possible on Sunday afternoon when reception is closed.

Quiet and peaceful campsite. Everything is clean. We stopped here for one night. The pitches are flat and equipped with water. Excellent.
Simply perfect.
Very well-equipped campsite with a water tap and waste-disposal facilities at every pitch. Two kilometers to the town center. No shops nearby, but a small convenience shop at reception and a stand serving meals prepared at lunchtime. Mainly occupied by spa visitors.
Seems good, but BEWARE! No arrivals on Sunday afternoon! Reception is closed.
Booked for 3 nights. Arrived at reception but the lady could not find our reservation. She had a face like thunder and seemed like it was very inconvenient to process us. I was anticipating a smile at the end, but it never came. Showers were dirty,only one washing machine working.I was disappointed with the welcome we received, which set the tone for our stay. It costs nothing at all to be nice!!

Good campsite with facilities and showers; everything is very clean and there are shaded areas. We stayed for three nights. Green areas and hiking opportunities. Very close to Dax, where there are several thermal spas. Bread and croissants can be reserved.
Great campsite with a very pleasant welcome. We paid only €36 for two nights for a van. The pitch was shaded; I recommend it. The only drawback is that there is no swimming pool.
Great campsite. Large, flat, shaded pitches. Individual electricity hook-up and water tap. Perfect sanitary facilities with no queues. Many spa visitors on site. Large pétanque court and two barbecues available. Laundry. Very quiet night. We stayed three nights for €23 per night, including electricity. This was in early June. A caterer sets up two or three times a week. Lovely stay.
Spacious pitches and 10-amp electricity. Since Dax is a spa town, the campers are not the youngest, but without exception they are very friendly. Dogs are allowed and there is plenty of space. Short bike ride to central Dax. Check the website for prices. Sanitary facilities are sufficient and clean. The campsite can be reached via several routes, so not only through the center.
Really excellent campsite, pitches very well suited to motorhomes of all sizes, very clean sanitary facilities, and very friendly, dedicated staff. Reasonable price. Highly recommended.
