Been here?
Campsite 10km from Mont-Saint-Michel near Pontaubault; currently under major renovation with torn pitches and limited grass. Friendly staff, hot showers, and good pizza available. Motorhome spaces with electricity cost around €52 + tax per night. Bring toilet paper and towels. Once construction finishes it will be excellent, but currently unsuitable for wheelchairs or those seeking pristine grounds.

Receptionist very friendly. The pictures are not a true likeness to the site. I read it had been taken over but nothing about the changes. Once completed and matured will be great. You do need loo roll, soap and towels. The showers are clean and plenty of hot water. You can order bread for the next day and there is a cafe to eat and/or drink. We may sample some wine.
Very friendly welcome, but the campsite is under construction and it shows. No grass, pitches badly damaged and very sloped. To be reassessed after the work is finished; for now I do not really recommend it.
Two nights in a motorhome with electricity for two people = €52 plus tourist tax. Extremely friendly welcome, very good snack bar, pitches separated by teak branch panels. Possibility of having a pitch with private sanitary facilities. Shared facilities are simple but clean; the water was pleasantly hot for me, too hot for my husband! Campsite currently being renovated. I recommend it!
The campsite is being renovated/developed, but everything you need is available! The staff are very friendly, and the snack bar makes delicious pizzas! There is a little lack of grass, but it is not a problem. Absolutely recommended if you want to completely relax for a day. Not yet recommended for children, as there is no playground or pool yet (they are still being built!) Everything else is excellent!
Very friendly welcome, beautiful separated pitches with clear numbers, good kitchen with tasty fries, and well-chilled drinks. Clean sanitary facilities.
Small and nice.
Very friendly and helpful receptionist. Yes, the place is under construction but it works. Yes the shower and toilet block could do with a revamp, but I have seen worse. We stayed 1 night while passing through, it was fine. Just not suitable for people with disabilities at the moment. When finished, it should be nice.
Good little campsite. The pitches are spacious. The number of sanitary facilities may be insufficient if the campsite is full.
At the moment the site is still a major construction zone. The ground is torn up everywhere and there is no continuous grass. During our stay, individual bathrooms were delivered. According to reception, all but three are not usable. The location is quiet and the cycle path to Mont Saint-Michel is well developed. It is 14 km to the parking areas, from where a free shuttle runs.
Open today. The management is doing its best to accommodate us despite the ongoing work. They are behind schedule because of flooding this winter. Clean sanitary facilities. 45 minutes from Mont Saint-Michel by bicycle.
Closed, without any notice—just cones placed in front of it and that’s it.
We passed by on October 10. The owner informed us that the campsite was closed because of a change of ownership. There is currently no reopening date. Nice surroundings. To be continued.
It was perfect. Quiet, very clean. Very friendly owner.
We liked the campsite very much: clean, green, good location, nice owners who speak English, short distances, small and quiet. Excellent bakery nearby, and a market too. We also got a pitch spontaneously. We would gladly return.
The only downside, which kept it from getting five stars, was that the pitches were a little too small; I felt as though I was eating from my neighbor’s plate. Otherwise, the setting is lovely, and the couple who run the campsite are adorable with their English accent. The toilets, showers, and washing-up area are very clean. I would return without hesitation.
Very quiet campsite; the only downside was an electrical problem that kept tripping the power for the entire campsite all night, to the great despair of the very kind and helpful owner. Clean campsite that is worth the price. Two-person van plus motorcycle trailer and intermittent electricity = €25 per night.
Perfect campsite for relaxing! Very friendly welcome! Very clean sanitary facilities! Very welcoming owner! 18 km from Mont Saint-Michel, with cycle paths nearby! Very good bakery next door! Highly recommended!
Beautiful campsite, well located in the village and quiet. Many pitches, but most are sloped apart from those at the top. The service area is at the entrance to the campsite on the left, but the wastewater drainage is inconvenient. Price €23 with electricity for two people.
The campsite is perfect whether you have a camper or a tent. Electricity is available directly at the pitch, there are no long walks, and it is in a quiet location. Even in peak season, we got a pitch the same day after a short phone call. English is also spoken at reception. As everywhere in France, the toilet facilities are somewhat dated, but clean.
Very nice small campsite. Very peaceful. Clean and well maintained. Recommended.
You would have to search a long time to find a more fantastic owner! Because our car broke down, we stayed here for five nights while waiting to get a rental car to get home. The owner offered us the use of their car so we could go to the shop and also see Mont Saint-Michel while we were here. An incredibly service-minded owner! Quiet and peaceful campsite.
Clean sanitary facilities. Friendly welcome! Perfect for one night on the road!
Beautiful, clean campsite with slightly sloping grassy pitches. Everything you need is available. Hot showers. Short distances to the sanitary building. Free Wi-Fi. Very nice owner. We paid €18 for one night, for a car with a roof tent and two people, without electricity. Electricity costs €5 extra.
A quiet campsite ideally located for visiting Mont Saint-Michel. Ideally located for cycling routes. The sanitary facilities and showers are all clean, the grounds are very well maintained, and the owner is very nice. I recommend it 100%.
Just two stars on acsi but deserves much more. Lovely clean quiet site, friendly helpful owner. Highly recommend
Good value for money. Very well-maintained washrooms and grounds. Excellent for visiting Mont Saint-Michel and further bike tours. Can only recommend it.
A wonderful site with very friendly operators; we felt very comfortable. You can easily reach Mont Saint-Michel by bicycle and avoid the crowds of tourists. A small tip: go in the late afternoon or early evening!
This is how it should be: Friendly welcome at reception (unfortunately I do not speak French and only rudimentary English). Everything was explained to me, and I could choose my pitch. The sanitary facilities are completely adequate and tidy for the size of the site. Water and waste facilities for everything are available. This is how it should be!
We arrived with three motorhomes; there were plenty of pitches even for the May 1 weekend. The man is English but speaks French well. He is very pleasant, and his campsite is quiet, very clean, and especially not far from Mont Saint-Michel, 15 minutes away. I recommend it.
Warm welcome from the owner. Clean, quiet pitch, immaculate sanitary facilities. We recommend it.
Very beautiful place in the countryside. Everything is perfect this season: quiet, clean, well maintained, spacious pitch. We will definitely return. I recommend this campsite.
Very quiet. Very clean and well maintained. Very warm welcome. Open from 7:30 a.m. to 11:30 p.m.
