Been here?
A peaceful, family-run campsite surrounded by nature, with clean facilities, a lake and activities such as kayaking. Fires are allowed past 9pm, and evenings can be spent under a starry sky. A stay costs £26 plus £2 for a dog, with no EHU and one combined shower, toilet and sink cubicle for the site. The track from the main road is very rough, and rubbish must be taken home.

Wonderful stay with our RV. The hosts keep the site true to real camping. Nothing over‑commercialised, just grass under your feet and nature all around. Fires are allowed past 9pm, which makes evenings perfect under a starry sky. Peaceful atmosphere, clean facilities, and a genuinely thoughtful place.
Stayed here after a wild camp Friday night. £26 +£2 dog, 2 cubicle for the whole site shower toilet sink in one. Ground was quite logged/muddy in places, great signal no EHU. Great Lake and services. Downside lacking in toilets, have to take rubbish home. Very rough track to site from the main road. Bar/bus pub on site..
Great place that we use regularly, family run by people who can't do enough to help. Lake activities such as kayaking etc, very clean facilities. you take your own rubbish with you, and no hook ups as far as I know (we don't use them) beer bus, marquee and night entertainment (certain dates) lovely picturesque spot, and wildlife everywhere. local canal walks just outside.
