6-30 Rue Louis Joonnekindt, 59820, Gravelines
Been here?
Large free flat car park on the beach, 5 minutes' walk to shore. Suitable for overnight parking. Generally quiet at night though some traffic at dusk and dawn; occasional bus movements reported. Watch long-vehicle maneuvering—park carefully at line edges. Public toilet sometimes closed. Picnic area and small playground nearby. Short drive to ferry terminal.

We spent one night here. We were staying with friends and know the town. Flat parking, well located, quiet night, a little traffic in the evening, but nothing after 11 p.m. Then a little in the morning.
Great. Free, spacious parking. Attention for long vehicles: stay at the edge of the line, otherwise getting out is almost impossible.
Large, flat car park conveniently placed five minutes walk to the nearby beach, or, 40 minutes further on, for a look around the town. Good for filling a few hours before catching the ferry.
A great place for a self-sufficient motorhome. Good location, very level, and very quiet at night. Waste bins available. The public toilet was locked. I highly recommend it if you are not bothered by the nearby nuclear power plant.
I spent one night in my car and it was very quiet. Several mobile homes were set up there. I had decided to leave early but fell back asleep until 9 a.m.—really peaceful!
Large free car park - also used by coaches - but that doesn’t seem to be a problem.
Unfortunately, we had a very restless night: there was a lot of shouting in the neighborhood in the middle of the night, and several buses stopped in succession, unfortunately leaving their engines running.
We slept very well there. The beach was not far away, and there are public toilets too.
Crowded in the afternoon of a sunny summerday, got empty around 5pm. Little playground, public toilet open, short walk to the beach. We had a quiet night and short drive to the ferry the next morning.
We had a quiet Friday night. Close to the beach. The beach is very long before you reach the sea. The car park is fairly busy during the day, quiet in the evening. It is a shame there are no picnic benches by the playground in the park.
Ideal daytime parking for visiting; we did not stay overnight because it was too noisy.
A nice place to spend the night. I read that it was a 10-minute walk to the beach. It is actually only 5 minutes!
Flat parking. We only parked there during the day, but we used the free juices there. Line 26 to Gravelines—perfect.
Quiet from 8 p.m. to 6 a.m. After that, the local buses start running again. There was also construction work in the car park. We felt safe.
