Camping Roca d'Amour

Camping as a couple with one child. First pitch facing the pool, intended for tents, so very difficult to maneuver and with no space. The next pitch was very sloped, so leveling blocks were essential, but it was very muddy and we spun our wheels. Very difficult to get out without getting stuck (we were not the only ones). Unheated pool; half the sanitary facilities had completely cold water. I will not return!

Campsite intended for bungalows. Poorly managed for motorhomes. No wastewater disposal. Also, don't forget your swimsuit, because otherwise they won't let you use the pool.

Very nice campsite, but mainly geared toward bungalow rentals; pitches are a little tight, which is a shame.

Campsite not suitable for motorhomes. Access to the pitch is steep, and the pitch itself is also uneven. An 8-meter heavy motorhome for two people costs €39. No area for dumping or filling up. Four-star campsite for bungalows, but not for motorhomes. However, the welcome is very good. A little disappointed.

Great in a van! And surprised by the bad reviews. Excellent playgrounds and pools for children, but not only for them. Clean toilets. The shower water is still very hot... but apparently some people find it too much and others not enough. At the beginning of the season it was pleasant. Price for four people and one pitch: €35. We would gladly have stayed another night.

Those traveling with children will be well accommodated here in a chalet. Motorhome pitches are between the buildings on terraces and are partly sloped, so leveling blocks are necessary. The 2025 off-season price for two people with a motorhome is €40—far too high! Positive: very quiet and very dark at night.

It is a beautiful campsite that children would particularly enjoy (bouncy castle, several large slides, outdoor pool, heated indoor pool with entertainment), but it is unsuitable for motorhomes. There is no disposal for grey water or toilets, and the only pitches are on a slope in a meadow. As soon as it is slightly wet, you cannot get onto the leveling blocks or back off the meadow.

We stopped for one night and it was perfect. Small campsite with few pitches. Quite sloped but large. Perfect for children, as there are activities and a pool with slides. You can walk to the Padirac Cave.

We did not get a pitch even though we only wanted one night. The pitches are quite steep, so without leveling blocks it is not ideal. We were refused when we asked whether we could use just the pool and playground. They look good, though. Conclusion: four stars for the facilities, but only one star for camping and toilets. We walked through the site once before asking for a pitch.

At around 2 p.m. there was no space left for two people and one Sprinter for one night.

For a sunny off-season weekend… Beautiful level pitch with a small hut containing a table and chairs, a deck chair, even a fridge and a small gas barbecue. Superb heated pool. Close to the Gouffre de Padirac. Good facilities and priced accordingly (€80 for 2 nights, 4 people). Probably an entirely different story in high season, though…
