Quiet weekend parking, no services

Very quiet place on weekends, 25 minutes from the center by public transport.

Suitable for vehicles of any length. Fifteen minutes by bike from Old Lille on cycle paths.

We spent a very peaceful night and felt very safe. Since the motorhome has a lot of overhang, we parked in front of the high school, where the sidewalk is wider and we caused less obstruction.

Very quiet (very few cars and people, residential neighborhood). The park closes at night. Long spaces (a VW T6 with a tow-bar-mounted bike rack fit). We slept with the roof raised. Ten minutes from the center by bicycle (cycle lane). We parked on the side of the park facing the detached houses (I think it is the quietest).

Brilliant place to park. Easy to find and as others have said, close to tram for direct access to the city. Residential area with no services (apart from bins). Lovely children’s park which was open in ‘summer’ until 9.30pm. Did get some noise around midnight with someone playing ball close by but not really a problem.

Mostly quiet. Few kids late at night on a Friday, but they did not make too much noise. Overall very good. Looks like the council may be about to change the parking as spray painted numbers on each space.

A peaceful, safe night. Close to the tram that takes you to the center.

I live on this street, so I can confirm that it is a good spot outside high-school opening days (weekends, holidays, and public holidays). A social-housing block is nearby, but apart from a few rare noisy events (perhaps one or two per year), there have never been any safety problems, and the police are present. There are ten spaces, but still avoid having more than two or three vehicles there so it is not perceived as a nuisance and eventually banned ;)

Convenient parking, also suitable for long motorhomes, in a very quiet area, a few minutes from the tram stop, which takes you to central Lille in 10 minutes. Municipal swimming pool just a short walk away.

Quiet place, lots of space (although narrow); long motorhomes can let the rear overhang onto the grass. Perfect for visiting Lille; we took our bicycles. Lille was great fun with the children (zoo and amusement park).

Parking around the high school, perfect for parking for FREE, which is rare in Lille. I left my car for three days and had no problems.
