Camping Golfo Dell’Asinara Sorso

Actually a nice place, though the walk from the camper to the sea is somewhat uphill. Great beach, pizzeria, and bar—not tested. It is by the sea. The sanitary facilities are okay apart from the showers, which alternate between cold and warm with little water.

Camping similar to the other campsites on this island. Two people, a unit with electricity: €41. Shower with hot water.

Access to the lake is currently not possible.

Large campsite open since May 18, 2026; pleasant welcome, clean sanitary facilities, and lovely shade under the pines. We will return!

We were there on May 23. Very basic. Restaurant and pool still closed. Showers only had cold water. At €35 with ACSI, rather expensive.

Okay for one night, but somewhat expensive for what is offered. Sanitary facilities are old and not really clean. No shopping facilities nearby, not even bread in the morning, which was inconvenient for us without bicycles. On the plus side, there are pleasant shady pitches with lots of trees.

Quite expensive for the services offered; the plus is the beach just two steps away.

Horrible. Very expensive and terrible facilities. The best things are the pool and restaurant. Prices are outrageous.

A campsite to avoid completely. The pitches are not marked out and there is no privacy at all. In addition, there are little cabins right behind, so you can hear everything and it is noisy. The bathrooms are old; in one shower the door did not close, in two others the water pressure was very weak, and in another the plastic shelf for placing things was completely broken. They charged €40 per night for two people and a tent with these facilities. There are many other campsites with lower prices and much better facilities!

Good welcome, hot showers, and clean sanitary facilities, but no toilet paper. A regular Italian camper informed us that the water is not drinkable?! Reception confirmed this: it is okay for cooking, but for drinking it is better to buy bottled water. There is no warning anywhere! €36 for two adults, one van, one night.

We were given a very warm welcome and good advice. Since we had already made inquiries the day before, everything went smoothly. We had the beautiful beach all to ourselves. The campsite has everything you need for one night before the ferry. We paid €36 for the night, even though we had a trailer with two motorcycles. This was on May 28, 2025.

Apparently, the 'rich' campers from the north allow themselves to be ripped off by these prices.

Unfortunately, I cannot give zero stars! €55 in the low season for filthy toilets and showers for two people with a van; the electricity was also partly out. The only positive thing was the friendly welcome.

We stopped at the campsite hoping only to use the facilities, but this was refused.

€50 per night for two people without electricity and with everything included. The site, especially the sanitary facilities, is really grimy and run-down. Fine for a quick solution and one night. Nice proximity to the beach and not busy. We ate at the on-site restaurant in the evening. The pizza was 10/10, but our table neighbors strongly advised us against the fish.

We got a pitch at short notice for one night. Very friendly welcome. Value for money for one night, three adults, and one child at €63 with electricity was okay, considering it was high season. Very nice beach; toilets and showers could be a little cleaner.

1 star as I can’t give zero. The most expensive campsite we stayed on- and the worst. Some highlights: poo in the showers, the mountain of Parmesan cheese in the washing sink, the screaming onsite summercamp kids, the worst sandwiches in the bar which are essentially mayonnaise with extra mayonnaise,filthy facilities. After pre-paying for 2 nights we left at midnight as we couldn’t deal anymore.

A nice, uncomplicated campsite with plenty of room even for larger groups—which did not bother us. The facilities are clean and not particularly old. Tall pines and eucalyptus provide shade and places for hammocks. The beach is so-so. Close to Porto Torres, which is surprisingly lively and beautiful for an evening stroll. Live music and street life everywhere on Sunday evening.

The comments here are complaining about very high standards. A good mid-range campsite. Normal toilets, no holes. The women's toilets have seats; the men's do not, and every man knows why.

Unfortunately, the description is incorrect. Apart from the price of €21 all-inclusive, we should have paid €46 for one night, two people, a camper, and electricity, plus €4 for camper services. We did not think that was very good. We are giving one star because the young lady waived €10 for us. We have seen nicer beaches. The toilets and showers were clean, but only just. We would not return.

The beach is really good. The campsite is so-so, okay for one night, but far too expensive. €36 for two people and a California T6.1 without electricity is steep. No hot water for washing dishes. No toilet seats and no toilet paper. Good grief. The place is extremely run-down.
