Been here?
Small camping park near Mount Etna, about 30 minutes from the Etna parking area and Catania. Pitches are flat with electricity and water, and the campsite has clean facilities, a pool, barbecue area and playground. Showers are hot but small, with 4 minutes available, and persistent barking from a nearby kennel can be heard. Vehicles larger than 8 m may find the pitches difficult.

Very small campsite. Thirty minutes from the Etna parking area and 30 minutes from Catania. If you want to visit Catania, I recommend the Due Obelischi parking area and then taking the BRT1 bus. Thanks to the staff for the parking advice. Very clean sanitary facilities, with a four-minute hot shower. €35 for a motorhome, three people, electricity, and hot showers. Excellent.Translating
Well-equipped campsite, clean sanitary facilities, and a very pleasant pool at the end of the day. Ideal for Etna. Shuttle available. They were accommodating about changing an ACSI reservation. Downside: persistent barking from dogs at a nearby kennel.Translating
I am completely satisfied. Nice campsite, and the price is still reasonable. The pool is now open, and you can hardly hear the cars on the road or the distant barking dogs. It is also nonsense that the whole site is supposedly covered in lava ash.Translating
Covered in lava dust from head to toe. Showers far too small. Not enough time to wash your hair properly. You have to get dressed and undressed in the dirty communal corridor. On June 12, at 31°C, the pool was still not open. The reason was: ‘It is not summer yet.’ What? On top of that, there is a dog kennel next to the campsite where dogs bark and whine day and night.Translating
Campsite on a busy road. Pool use only in summer (it is unclear when summer starts for them). Bathroom cleaning from 19:00 to 21:00, with the bathrooms unusable during that time. I will not comment on the welcome or the way customers are treated. I will not return!Translating
Campsite ok 21 EUR per night shower included. Very outdated but functional. Small showers.
Perfect location for visiting Etna. Reception assistance was okay, but the site urgently needs newer, more spacious showers. 60 by 60 cm is really too small.Translating
Very nice small campsite near Etna. Sanitary facilities are clean, with hot water and toilet paper everywhere. Shower with card, four minutes free. Excellent value for money. I stayed a second night and would come back anytime.Translating
We liked it very much! Very nice and helpful staff. Beautiful pitches and a lovely site, although it becomes very tight for larger vehicles over 8 m. We would definitely come back.Translating
A very friendly campsite. We stayed here for two nights and drove our camper to Etna, which took less than half an hour. Everything you need is available, along with wonderfully hot showers. The service from the manager was excellent; he helps with all the information you ask for.Translating
I would never try coming here without a reservation again (May 5). The drive there was no fun, and then there was no space left. We went back to Catania.Translating
Very pleasant campsite, 30 minutes by vehicle from the Etna cable car. Modern, clean sanitary facilities and dishwashing sinks with hot water. Good Wi-Fi near reception. Friendly reception staff. Children’s playground. Water taps near each pitch. We had a very pleasant stay.Translating
€21 for two people with a camper van is okay. Four-minute shower included. The dog shelter next door was not really disturbing, and it is a great base for Etna.Translating
Overall very good experience, water, electricity, service area and toilets are very good, prices are reasonable however shower stalls are tiny to the amount that it can pose a problem to people with mobility issues or big people. Also, and that is no fault of the camp - the road on which it is located is quite busy and very narrow so walking anywhere is an adventure, not the best with a dog.
In March there were no tents and few campers, so it was very quiet and orderly. The laundry room, washing areas, and sinks are excellent. Clean facilities (8) and hot showers (8). Barbecues, water, and recycling bins are well distributed throughout the area. The owner is a true professional in tourism: matter-of-fact, no frills, very present, and effective. Maneuvering is reasonably easy with a 7-meter vehicle.Translating
Great place! Nature and quiet. Friendly staff. Nice hot showers (but yes a bit small and cramped) the cafe in belpasso is nice to walk to and so if the town nicolossi. Beautiful views of Etna. Also possible to book a shuttle to Etna south if weather permits. Acsi discount. Grazzie
Facilities are nice. Friendly staff. WiFi works at my camping position. No noise I slept without earplugs. But the showers and washing were far too complicated. Showers use a prepaid card with time on it that you tap and I messed it up twice losing part of my first shower and accidentally starting my second one at the same time. Good: only €5 for water & disposal services without staying overnight
Really great and well-maintained campsite. Lovingly designed, sanitary facilities super clean, toilets with seats and toilet paper, good waste separation, and convenient waste disposal. The site is on a busy road without a sidewalk. For walking, ask at reception for the gate key to the garden gate at the back; from there you can reach the surrounding villages through the forest.Translating
The shower is excellent, but I was cold in there. Otherwise, a wonderful place—and there is also a small playground!Translating
Very nice small campsite with the best sanitary facilities we experienced during our stay in Sicily. The showers are small, but there is hot water everywhere, including for washing dishes. Very clean sanitary facilities and a very tidy site. There are no extensive provisions, but everyone can arrange that themselves. Highly recommended, especially because of its proximity to Etna. Keep it up.Translating
Reserve bread the night before or no bread in the morning. If you need the tumble dryer after your washing, enquire whether its available. The gentleman at reception is busier playing with his mobile than providing advise to guests.
In October 2025, still an amazing €15 for one person in a van including electricity. They kindly do not disadvantage solo travelers, as often happens when the price is the same for one or two people. Super clean and friendly. Reception 8:00–14:00 and 16:00–21:00. Quiet hours 14:00–16:00. Pizza and cornetti can be ordered at reception. No dogs barking at night.Translating
Very nice small campground well positioned for Etna visits and the town of Nicolosi is actually quite charming too. Large pitches with electric and water. Super helpful staff. Really nice. Only negative comment is they use a very silly electronic card for the showers. The showers themselves were hot and super clean but you only get a four minute shower per day!
Great site with all services included, €21 per day for a motorhome with two people. Excellent starting point for hikes at the foot of Etna. Recommended.Translating
Showers and toilets clean. You can hardly hear the road. The dogs, however, can be heard, especially at night. Walking the dog is difficult because there is no sidewalk along the road, but there is a small forest at the back of the site. Otherwise, everything is okay.Translating
Well-maintained site with everything needed to spend a few peaceful days. Truly recommended!Translating
Small, family-run campsite with a somewhat steep entrance, but very well organized. The sanitary facilities are exceptionally clean and well maintained. The staff are very friendly and helpful. Absolutely excellent value for money! We stayed for two nights and it was a great base for trips to Etna. Highly recommended!
Unbeatable value for money, perfectly located for visiting Etna. The showers are tight, but the shower time is longer than average. Overall, very clean sanitary facilities and a friendly welcome. We found the dogs less bothersome.
We were spontaneously accepted at around 19:30, with reception staffed until 21:00. Beautiful, well-maintained grounds. Very clean sanitary facilities. A four-minute shower via card with start-stop electronics is free. €21 per night for a VW van including electricity is excellent value! The only drawback is nighttime noise from the dogs and road. Put in earplugs and you are done.
Basically, a nice, well-run site. The showers are clean but very cramped, and toilet paper is provided. The entrance is very steep, but we managed it with our 6.5 m vehicle and trailer and could maneuver inside. Unfortunately, the neighbor is a dog school, with constant barking. You stand on volcanic sand, which naturally gets carried everywhere; it is very dusty.
Nice site, wonderfully located, with clean sanitary facilities. The swimming pool costs extra and requires a swimming cap; showers are included. The major drawback, however, is the adjacent dog boarding facility, where the dogs bark tirelessly, especially in the morning when the kennels are supposedly cleaned. You are kept awake—very unfortunate.
We did not stay overnight. I am writing this comment only to warn that they do not offer motorhome service: emptying and filling.
Actually a beautiful spot in the countryside with excellent facilities—if it weren't for the dogs in the neighborhood. They bark all night. A deaf person could easily give it 5 points. For people with normal hearing, 4 is already too generous. Therefore 3.
It was already exceptional in 2023 when we stayed for a week, but now with the pool option it is super-exceptional. Shaded, peaceful, cool, clean, and the staff are always available. In short, 5 stars plus. Compliments.
