Paid citadel parking, late-night music

It was an empty parking area in December, but local youngsters use the place at night. They arrive around midnight, playing lots of music and making noise, making it impossible to sleep. We had to drive a couple of hundred metres away and stop around the corner in the next lot.✦Translating

Very spacious and pleasant parking area. Direct access to the citadel. Minor drawback: a few cars arrive and leave. Nothing serious, but it is a little noisy early in the evening.✦Translating

Quiet parking area during the day, right next to the fortifications. But after dark it is a different story! At weekends, young people play very loud music in their cars and drive very fast around the fortifications. During the week it is a little quieter, but remains dangerous because cars speed around revving their engines. Paid parking, but we did not pay for three days and nobody checked.✦Translating

We stayed here on a rainy evening. The place seems to be very popular with young people in lowered BMWs. Until late at night, they drifted around the area with their cars roaring loudly, so we were afraid they would collide with our trailer. Unfortunately, not a very restful night!✦Translating

We stayed for two nights right at the end of the road by the tennis courts. It was flat, quiet at night and safe. Please note it’s free from 8 to 8 except on Friday and Saturday when you have to pay all day and night. Very close to citadel and lovely walk round the walls. Toilets nearby. Cafes nearby and also phone reception.

Great location with mostly level paved parking spots. Lots of traffic on a Friday evening but gets quiet for sleeping later on.
