Shaded mountain spot, narrow access

Be sure to approach via the GI-3440. The site is beautiful, with a great view. Many pilgrims pass by in the morning. Good for hiking and walking down into town, about 30 minutes, although the way back is strenuous. If the site is full, I would recommend following the road to the end. There is a large parking area there. It is level and not far away, though without a beautiful view.

Nice place, the beach is 40 minutes away. But please take your toilet paper with you!!

I could have given it four stars, with one point deducted for the motorway noise that can be heard constantly, etc. The second point was deducted because of the people who make a mess in nature and do not pick up their toilet paper. Apart from that, it is a very good spot in the hills, with no disturbance from neighbors and only a few vehicles passing in the evening.

Quiet, relaxing place where our L3H2 fit comfortably without blocking access to the gate. However, we had a poor internet connection, which made working difficult. Therefore, no five stars for us.

I was already here in February, when it was much quieter. The site is on the Camino de Santiago, so there are many hikers and, in good weather, some drivers heading to the sea. In good weather, there is a great view of the mountains. Good internet on site. Worse network coverage farther ahead.

Perfect, very quiet place. A few houses farther on, walkers and sheep; everything went very well. I recommend it.

Great place with a lovely view, quite far from the road. However, some road noise can be heard. Space for 2–3 vans and two places on the side without obstructing passage.

The site is not particularly suitable for large motorhomes: only one car was parked there, so with a length of 10 m it was no longer possible to stand on the site without blocking the gate. The road is only one lane wide. Difficult manoeuvre when turning around farther down the road. Beware of falling deadwood. In storms, the many old trees could lose branches. Beautiful view.

This place is fantastic! There is a beautiful view of the mountains. You can also go for nice walks or hikes from here. The night was very quiet. During the day, cars, mopeds and quad bikes pass by occasionally. Park so that the gate is not blocked.

Great, quiet night, no noise, lovely spot and beautiful view. The parking area is somewhat narrow, but it is okay. I recommend it in February and March; I think it works in all seasons as well.

Quiet and dark place, unfortunately with rubbish. No services. Residents occasionally drive past, but it does not disturb.

Good spot to stay the night, some cars and local people with their dogs passing by but otherwise calm!

A beautiful place to relax. We stayed there for 3 nights. Hikers and locals walking their dogs came by. During the day we were down by the sea. We felt very safe. We could leave our motorhome parked there unattended for several hours without worry. We will come back.

We settled a little farther down in the parking area with the rubbish bins. Hunters at 6:30; there were three of us sleeping there. Walk down to the small harbour below.

Nice place for one night. In the morning a warden came and told us not to put out tables and chairs. Staying overnight is allowed, but we should do everything inside the van if possible. He was very nice though :-)

Space for 3–6 vehicles. On the way there are two more lay-bys, but they are rather uneven, so levelling wedges are needed. It is near the industrial harbour, so there are noises at night, but they are not very loud.

We slept here last night in a 6.8 m motorhome. Very lovely view, partly hidden by the trees. Very quiet night despite the small road in front. Please pick up your rubbish.

Little-used road. About 3–4 places depending on vehicle size. Very easy to find. Sea view from the road, not directly from the spot. We had a very good night!

Super beautiful spot, with room for up to 5 campervans. Lots of mosquitoes and just as many piles of poop. Since 80% of the campers here were German, this is very embarrassing to me, and I hope someone leaves a pile outside your door someday. Is it too much to ask to dig a hole and do your business there? It is truly disgusting.

I slept here with a VW California after spending a day in San Sebastián. Quiet place, frequented by cyclists, but they all said hello without complaining about my presence. There were also other vans near me. P.S. There is also a water point not far away where you can refill; you can always see it in this app. Just look around here.

Arrived late and had to move closer to the road, where an urban street race took place all night.

Beautiful place in the forest, lots of mosquitoes and animals, as well as many hikers and cars passing by. Four other people were staying with us, which made it feel relaxed and safe overall at night. There are no toilets or bins. The road is a little uneven, and you have to drive uphill for quite a while. Campers should still be able to get up there.

Good, quiet place to sleep in the middle of nature, with good views, but it was not completely level. We almost ran over a marker when leaving the van.

Good for spending an afternoon. A little dirty. Little traffic. Quite good space.

Nice place to spend the night. There were three vans in the small area and two along the road. A 1.5 km, half-hour walk down a path leads to a small cove where you can swim and watch a superb sunset. The only downside on this summer Saturday was music almost all night from a town festival below, which could be heard clearly.

Very good place for one night. A little small, but we were alone, so it was fine. A little traffic from people going to the parking area slightly lower down, and pedestrians out walking, but overall very good.

Very good spot with a lovely view for one night. We were four vehicles and not crowded together. Lots of flies. The road leads to a hiking trailhead, so there is some traffic in the morning.

Clean and quiet place, with only the noise of a few motorbikes in the evening. Perfect for the night. One path leads down to the sea, another down to the harbour. We turned around without difficulty with a 7-metre vehicle.

Very nice parking area for one night! A path to the right leads down to the sea—a worthwhile little 30-minute hike. The way up is quite steep; good shoes are necessary. Otherwise, several cars pass by, but none complained—it seems to be a common parking and overnight spot.

When I arrived, a long-term camper was already there. The place was dirty. I drove on.

Quiet, level and pleasant site. Beware: because of its popularity, it can be very busy and privacy may be limited.

We arrived around 5 p.m.; there were already two vehicles on site. In July, the area gets crowded, so take this into account. We went to another spot farther on. Accessible for vans and small panel vans. Impossible to turn around with a motorhome.

The site is NOT level. You stand somewhat crooked. Some traffic from 8 a.m. Otherwise, we had a very quiet night.
