Unnamed Road, 83471, Griesstätt
Been here?
A small parking area beside Kettenhammer Weiher, with a playground, walking and cycling opportunities, and a Wasserwacht station. Recent information reports a new “Camping prohibited” sign, while evening noise from local youths and early-morning tree work have also occurred. The €3 day ticket can be paid through the Parkster app or at the machine. The site is therefore no longer suitable for overnight camping.

Young people from the village were making a lot of noise by the lake until midnight. At 6:30 a.m., branches were unnecessarily cut from the tree and a new sign was put up saying: “Camping prohibited.”
Very pleasant spot, beautiful cycling paths and a bakery nearby. The pond does not particularly invite swimming; there were already algae in April. Perhaps it is nicer in summer, but certainly crowded then.
Quiet, beautiful lake, playground for children—perfect for a stopover. In summer it must be great, if you can still swim in the lake!
One of the best spots in a long time—absolute peace at night and great walks with the dog. The €3 day ticket can easily be paid via the Parkster app or at the machine. Only for self-sufficient campers and apparently only outside the swimming season. Please keep everything clean!
Excellent overnight spot under beautiful oak trees, with lots of peace and quiet. You can take a quick swim in the small pond. During the summer half of the year, the very good toilets are open. Please keep them clean; they are run and cleaned voluntarily by the water rescue service, which can sometimes be a thankless task. A small donation would surely increase acceptance of overnight guests.
Beautiful spot outside the swimming season. In summer it is probably very busy and therefore not really suitable for motorhomes.
