Selandsvegen 33, 4400, Flekkefjord
Been here?
A campsite beside a lake, divided between a grassy area and an asphalt section directly by the water. The setting currently overlooks industry and the E39, while many pitches are occupied by permanent seasonal campers. A night costs 35euro, and some waterfront motorhome pitches have no electricity. Sanitary facilities are available and generally clean, with playgrounds and other recreational facilities on site.

We drove straight away again. View of industry and the E39, no atmosphere. Full of permanent seasonal pitches.
I paid €35 for one night and we got a spot right by the road, so personally I found it too expensive for this.
Campsite in two sections: a conventional grassy section and another, a few hundred meters away, on asphalt. The asphalt section is beside the lake. Sanitary facilities are fine.
We parked in the motorhome spaces down by the water. There is no electricity here, but that was no problem for us. Beautiful place—very quiet and pleasant. 375 kroner without electricity.
Beautifully located site directly by a lake that invites swimming. Flekkefjordbanen can easily be reached on foot within 1 to 1.5 hours. The new bathrooms in the additional sanitary building are wonderful. Otherwise, everything is older and could be made attractive with some care and attention. Very nice during the week; at weekends it is full and noisy until late at night because of the permanent campers.
Large, quiet, level site. Clean sanitary facilities. Friendly staff and bread rolls in the morning for a small extra charge. Direct beach access. Facilities for emptying toilets and disposing of wastewater.
The reception left a lot to be desired; it seemed to be a girl's holiday job. We could not find the electricity connection. Her answer was, “I don't know where it is either.” Fortunately, there was also a boy, likewise on a holiday job, who was very helpful and searched the site with us. There is a lack of a manager who feels responsible. The new sanitary facilities are great.
Nice campsite. Although it is about 1 km from the road, you can still hear the cars. The sanitary facilities are clean. We are staying without electricity on the meadow for 495 kroner. Far too expensive!
Very nice and clean sanitary facilities! We had one of four pitches directly by the water without electricity, which was basically very nice apart from the road next to it. However, 375 NOK is far too expensive, and it was too far from the sanitary facilities. There is a kitchen with a refrigerator, a nice playground, and a family shower. Many permanent campers.
The sanitary facilities are 10/10—very clean and modern! It is a little unfortunate that you cannot borrow anything when reception is unstaffed. You have to be lucky to get a pitch on the meadow, hence only 3 out of 5 stars.
Great campsite! Beside the lake, on grass, with a level pitch! Showers and water filling are included in the online price. You can wash dishes and empty wastewater. It is a great place!
We only stopped to empty grey water and fill up on drinking water. Service is free even if you aren’t a guest. Staff is friendly. We then moved on so cannot comment on the actual campsite services.
This review concerns the main site. We were between permanent campers, so there was little view, but we were sheltered from the wind. The playground right next to our pitch was ideal for us. The small beaches are lovely, and it was even possible to swim briefly. Unfortunately, the sanitary facilities are very outdated. The site seemed quiet and had little charm, but it was perfectly fine for one night.
Site directly by the water, heavily occupied by permanent campers. As a result, the pitches are very tight and undersized. Sanitary facilities from an older era. The road above the site created a constant noise level for sensitive ears. Overall, little atmosphere. No more than a stopover.
Fine for one night, though expensive—almost €50 for a motorhome pitch with electricity. We had a quiet night near a small beach, playground, and sanitary building. Many permanent pitches at this campsite. It was strange that one of the playgrounds was closed and half of the sanitary facilities were closed, leaving limited capacity during peak season. You can rent pedal boats, among other things, but ours was broken and supposedly would be repaired shortly; a few hours later, nothing had happened. The hot, spacious, clean shower was excellent and suitable for showering with small children, but unfortunately the showerhead mount was broken and could not be adjusted to adult height. We had a perfectly good day and night, but because of the price and the points above, three stars.
