This is a huge coastal daytime parking area above a small cliff, with beautiful views of the sea and the islands of Samothraki and Thassos. There is no shade, but free parasols and showers are available, with a small facility offering sun loungers. Overnight stays and camping are not permitted.

Very good for the day, but camping is now prohibited.
Wonderful spacious place with grass near the forest, so in summer bring plenty of mosquito protection—candles, lamps, spray—as there is a very curious variety of wildlife, including mosquitoes, large flies, butterflies, and so on.
