A small, quiet parking area near a canoe dock, suitable only for small vehicles. The Werra’s water noise is loud, while the railway on the opposite bank is less noticeable; the ground may become muddy in wet weather and all-wheel drive is advantageous. There are no other facilities, and fishing permits are available in the nearby village.

Very nice place. However, if you are bothered by the sound of running water, this is not for you. The train on the other side is drowned out by the noise. Only suitable for small vehicles. Four-wheel drive is advantageous. Probably difficult in wet weather. Even on May 1 there was little activity. There is nothing else. Please be self-sufficient only; don't defecate in the bushes, and take your rubbish and wastewater with you!!!!Translating
Loud due to the Werra River and railway. Muddy in the rain—not really recommended. Also unsuitable for larger and heavier vehicles. With four-wheel drive you will plow up the meadow or field, which certainly won't be appreciated!Translating
We got stuck in the mud with our California. I advise against it. A little farther away in a village there are very quiet motorhome spaces with services as well.Translating
