Lower Castle Street, Tralee
Been here?
A central paid car park beside the church, convenient for Tralee shops, restaurants and pubs. It is busy during the day but usually quiet overnight, with church bells around 8:30am. Use the Park Lane entrance because the alternative is too tight for campervans; some spaces have uneven bulges, and parking costs €1.20 an hour after 8:30.

Quiet night on a Thursday in July with only a few loud locals around 10pm. Slept very peacefully. Toilets in the park were closed with signs removed when we came. Bit hard to find so be attentive when pulling in. Some of the parking spots are very poor with bulges so be mindful when parking. Make sure to leave before mass starts in the morning as to not inconvenience the locals
Central Tralee so it’s handy for shops and restaurants. Quiet at night, busy in the day, especially for church services on Sunday. We tried to use a corner spot by trees so we didn’t inconvenience locals.
Quite night stop. Use the park lane entrance - it’s so much easier. The other direction is too tight for campervan. It’s €1.20 an hour after 8:30- worth it for a lie in. In un
It was advantageous to arrive at the car park with the motorhome in the morning, as it is very popular with cars. Short walk, right in the city centre. Beautiful church. Larger motorhomes may have problems at the iron gate (photo), as you have to turn sharply left directly from the main road. Turning circle is decisive. We just barely made it. Attention: take the exit on the upper right (as seen from the ticket machine).Translating
No problem, completely quiet at night, various restaurants nearby. The church is new but still worth seeing.Translating
Very nice and quiet car park in the middle of the town. We were only woken the next morning by the 30 chimes. Anyone arriving later in the evening who is still looking for something to eat will find Kirby’s Brogue Inn.Translating
Quiet night, I recommend it.Translating
Calm overnight stay. Not big places
Impossible to manage during the day.Translating
Large empty car park at night; we spent a very quiet night there. Two entrances, one of them very narrow, so you must arrive via Park Lane. Free from 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 a.m. The church bells do not ring at night and start again at 8:30.Translating
We spent a quiet night here. Don’t forget to pay for your space. Close to the park, which is very beautiful.Translating
Very quiet spot right in the city. I stayed here for three nights with minimum disturbance. Definitely will go back again.
Quiet for sleeping; just note that the GPS indicates an entrance opposite the church, but it is only suitable for motorhomes. Prefer going around.Translating
