Unnamed Road, 2304, Makedonska Kamenitsa
Been here?
A quiet wild spot above a lake, offering views of the water and surrounding mountains. Access is possible by road but can be bumpy, with caution needed for long overhangs. Recent visits found toilet paper and other rubbish, no services, and very good signal.

Very beautiful, quiet place. We stopped here after crossing the border. The approach is somewhat bumpy, but manageable.
We had a quiet night. Yes, there are toilet tissues and other rubbish on the slope. Fortunately, it is currently the time of year when this is less noticeable… or we are hardened. Easy to reach, but be careful with long overhangs.
We spent a quiet night, with no noise. The road to get there is not very good, with quite a few potholes, and it is dirty, but the views are good. No facilities, very good signal.
Rubbish and mess, we have seen so many beautiful places but this was not one of them. What a dump. We also had a confrontation with youths carrying a rifle. Not recommended!
Very dirty! We did not stay. Thanks to the people sleeping there for respecting the place. If this continues, vanlife will soon be over :(
Great spots for a stopover! The entrance is somewhat hidden, opposite the turnoff to Dulitsa (coming from Skopje, turn left uphill toward Dulitsa, then somewhat hidden on the right downhill to the parallel road and parking spots). I cleared one spot at the far end, just before the car cemetery, of rubbish. No through traffic, only one pedestrian and two guys smoking weed.
Area with a beautiful view over the reservoir. Abandoned little road. Drive farther on for a few more beautiful spots. The only downside is that you hear the road occasionally.
The spot is very good. We continued along the small paved road, apparently abandoned. We found several pleasant places with a stunning view over the lake. We stayed several days and did not see anyone.
The place is inaccessible in April because of the high water. But higher up the mountain you can find beautiful spots. The water is for the rice fields. The lake is fed by two rivers; the water from the north passes by a mine.
Wonderful place to spend the night! Super peaceful and quiet, with a beautiful view over the lake.
Quiet, with mosquitoes at this time of year. There is access to the lake, but a local advised us not to swim because the lake is polluted (mining residues) and apparently there are quicksands in places.
