Lentse Warande, 6663, Nijmegen
Been here?
A riverside parking area in Lent with a view of Nijmegen and the surrounding bridges. Parking costs €17 from 12:00-18:00 and is free on Sundays; bins, benches and small trees are available, but there is no toilet. The city centre is about 15 minutes by bike, while nights can be noisy because of passing cars, youths and boy racers.

Excellent place from which to explore Nijmegen. Wonderful view of the river. We spent the night here without problems despite the coming and going of cars and constant noise.Translating
Nice quiet spot with a great view! At night there was a lot of noice, so earplugs are recommended ;)
Great place for a stopover. The city center is accessible on foot or by bicycle, but only via two bridges. Bins, benches and small trees. Directly on the river. Basically quiet, but we are not alone in the world. We stayed here for several days without problems.Translating
Very good spot. We were there on a Friday evening, so it was a little noisy. Walkers and athletes in the morning. The view is very nice.Translating
Not a quiet night with boy racers going up and down during the night. Apart from that good spot for a night. 15 bike ride to the centre.
Great place to spend the night! No toilet, but enough rubbish bins and space for large campers. Great spot for exploring the lovely town of Nijmegen.Translating
I spent one night there and it really is a beautiful place. Since the area is obviously a local recreational area, I am absolutely convinced that campers have no business there, even though we are still tolerated for now.Translating
A wonderful place with a view of the Nijmegen Bridge. Quiet nights, and there are few places like this in the Netherlands, especially near a major city.Translating
Perfect for visiting the city. The bridge you have to cross is a little long, but it is doable.Translating
Beautiful view. In the evening there were many young people around who were somewhat loud; in the morning they started exercising with music. So it is not really quiet, but fine for one night. We stayed here with a 7-metre motorhome without any problems. You decide.Translating
Perfect place for walks and a great view. Very quiet in the evenings, but windy in the winter as your right on the river. 30 minute walk into Nijmegen centre. No facilities.
Had a quiet night with several other campers. We arrived in the evening, but there was still plenty of space. Very close to the city, about 10 minutes by bike.Translating
Perfect place near Nijmegen. I recommend standing at the beginning. At the far end it is much busier in the evening and at night, with loud music from parked cars.Translating
