This spacious, free parking area is beside a shopping centre, about 15 minutes by bicycle or 35-40 minutes on foot from central Nîmes. Some spaces are shaded by trees, and shops are nearby. It is close to a major road and can be noisy, although one stay found the night quiet.

Great parking spot for visiting Nîmes. Free. 35–40 minutes on foot from the arena.
Difficult to find places in Nîmes. I was going to leave the motorhome here to visit the city, but because of the rain and wind, I ended up staying here for 3 days and 2 nights without any problems. I did some shopping locally as a thank-you. The night was quiet; I think it depends on your luck in finding a good spot. Nearby there is the T2 tram line to the center, costing €1.60; tickets are bought from the machine.
