Le Serre, 05400, Rabou
Been here?
A calm parking area at the top of Rabou, surrounded by nature and spectacular views, with several hiking routes starting nearby. Nights are generally quiet, while hikers begin arriving around 7:15. Access is narrow and difficult after the village, especially for larger motorhomes; follow the village route rather than Google Maps. An associative refreshment bar operates Tuesday and Friday evenings, with a local market on Tuesday evening, and 4G is available.

Extraordinary view; keep this place clean. Do not follow the GPS (Google) directions; take the village centre instead.
Superb parking area, very peaceful (we are here in February), with a splendid view.
Very quiet parking area at night. The first hikers arrive around 7:15 a.m. Very windy during the day and surprisingly completely calm at night. Several hiking trails start here. Follow the signs to reach the upper parking area.
A quiet place for the night. Very windy, but it did not bother us. There are not many spaces and hiking trails start here. We arrived around 5 p.m. and took the last space! In the morning, cars pass or park here because of the hiking trailhead. Not easy to access after the village, but we managed with a 7 m motorhome. It is cool and pleasant in summer!
Nice spot with a very beautiful view. However, we did not feel that the locals were very receptive to our presence. There is also quite a lot of traffic at night and in the morning from hikers. Very windy and a cool night, but peaceful.
Magnificent view, superb hiking, possible with an 8 m vehicle if you know how to drive! Be sure to go through the village and do not follow Google Maps for the last few hundred metres.
