Good parking area for a stopover, level, but unlike previous comments, the road is very busy until late evening and early in the morning. It may be seasonal (Friday night to Saturday in July). The toilets are closed and reserved for market traders, but there are toilets downhill near the circus.✦Translating

Free parking at this time of year, with shade in some places. You can go directly down to the river, where you will find deep spots for swimming. We were the only ones! We did not stay overnight because we had other plans, but it is certainly possible and quiet even though the road is nearby.✦Translating
