Lakeside parking, barrier blocked

This place cannot be reached because of a barrier. Shortly before it, however, there is a large gravel area where overnight stays are not prohibited (unlike all the other places on this road closer to Trondheim, which have no-parking signs). Good parking options for hiking. Free, except from January 15 to April 15.

Beautiful place, but very noisy until late, with cars coming and going. We eventually went looking for another spot in the middle of the night because of the noise and because we felt uncomfortable.

Beautiful location by the lake, with a picnic table on the pier. In the evening, perhaps partly because of the warm weather, local visitors came to exercise and walk. Very peaceful at night and in the morning. Limited number of parking spaces.

During the week, the place was busy until midnight with walkers, noisy cars and cyclists. After that, the night was wonderfully quiet. A swimming lake with a jetty and bench is right in front of the entrance. That was very nice.

Beautiful surroundings and absolutely great for one night. The parking lot is busy until late evening, but the locals greet you kindly and do not mind us :). It is very quiet at night. We were woken by a flock of sheep :)

Some day visitors during the day, but totally quiet at night. Beautiful spot.

Beautiful view. Many hiking trails can be reached from the site. Houses are nearby. Close to the road, but it is not heavily trafficked.

Blocked by a barrier. But there are plenty of places to stay overnight in front of it.

The place listed here is at the very top of the road; it is rather small and directly on the road, which is used by locals until late in summer. On the way there are several large gravel parking areas, some with views of the countryside.

We slept in the few spaces beside the small lake, where children are introduced to fishing. The walks are splendid, but if I were doing it again, I would sleep in a parking area farther from the road because we were right beside it. There was little traffic, but around midnight a car stopped deliberately with music at full volume, honking and laughing... hopefully that is rare.

Nice spot next to a small pond. Not many places. Up for the hill there is a big gravel parkering for like 50 cars but with no view except a government building. Pictures forbidden.

Nice place! We found a beautiful parking spot with a picnic table nearby. Starting point for many hikes. The later it gets in the evening, the quieter it becomes. We even saw moose. No toilets or bins available!
