Buchgasse, 89601, Schelklingen
Been here?
This secluded grassy spot beside the forest has little traffic and no rubbish bin or other facilities. It is slightly sloping, with shade, a good view and access to walking and mountain-bike routes. However, it is currently used by local youths testing cars and scooters, with loud music continuing into the early morning, making sleep impossible.

It used to be nice here. Now it has become a popular meeting place for the village youth, who test their cars and scooters at top speed. Loud music until the early morning. Sleeping is impossible. We collected all the rubbish and bottles. Annoyed, we drove on.
A dream spot! Directly beside the forest, with tall grass. Absolute silence at night. A few walkers during the day and an occasional car. No bin or other facilities, so please take everything away with you. For people who want to be perfectly level: the ground slopes slightly.
Good and quiet place to spend the night while passing through. We saw or heard nobody.
Quite level hiking car park on a meadow at the edge of the forest. Therefore also suitable in summer, as there is plenty of shade. Very few cars pass the site. No dog walkers in the morning when we were there. Great view.
Great spot, absolutely quiet, and a good starting point for mountain-bike tours, for example to Sontheim Cave.
