Free parking, noisy overnight

We arrived intending to spend the night, but a neighbor next to the parking area intimidated us, took photos, and behaved aggressively, so we decided to go to the paid parking near the castle for €0.20 per hour from 7 p.m. to 7 a.m. We slept peacefully for that price; the parking was monitored and quiet, slightly set back from the road.

Very easy access to and from the road. Cars, trucks, and buses park here; ours is the only motorhome, at eight meters. Perfect for visiting the castle and the town.

On Saturday the market ended at 5 p.m. Afterwards we parked our camper van with trailer there. We felt safe, and there were toilets, though they were not very fresh but usable. We had a delicious dinner across the road, and the next morning walked to the castle. Be careful when leaving because of the wooden beams; some are lower than others.

Free parking not far from the castle. The town is also installing sidewalks to make the legendary site more accessible. Be aware that if you visit the castle, there are ticket booths at the entrance and the price is much lower (€38) than on their website (€75) for a family of five, with one child free. The visit itself is nothing particularly special.

As soon as we arrived, a local resident told us we shouldn't park there. He was quite agitated. We asked others in the carpark and were told it was ok to park here, including the owner of the restaurant opposite. We spent 2 nights with only the road noise knocking a * off. To avoid a confrontation, it might be best to park on the right, away from the wooden structures, used during market days.

A good, spacious free place to stay, but not on Tuesday night into Wednesday, because the site is used for the market on Wednesday morning.

great free parking for a day trip in the area. we spoke to a local vegetable merchant, and she said night parking is tolerated but not ideal as there is a market in the morning. I'm not sure if that is the case for every morning, though.

Close to Brand castle. Free and no so quite. It is good for 1 night in order to visit the castle early in the morning

At the height of the season, the parking area is full of traders.

Behind a bus station, with some road noise. No problems. Close to the castle. A bit of rubbish. No facilities. Okay for one night.

Great car park just outside of Bran. Walking distance to the castle and easy access to walks into the national park. Felt safe. We stayed the night and didn't get disturbed by the road.

We stayed here only during the day to visit the castle, but there were plenty of free parking spaces, even for vans during the busy tourist season.

Flat paved parking lot great for visiting the castle. We got snow and stayed for 2 nights. There were electricity oulets. We thought the market wouldn't happen in 20cm of snow, but it started at 6 and was still going on at 13:00 when we left. The toilets were locked and did not even open for the market! The market was in the parking lot as well as up under the sheltered area. Adding pictures.

We only parked during the day to visit Bran Castle. Convenient, free spot with a 10 minute walk to the castle. The van was safe while we visited, with lots of other visitors coming and going.

Parking area 10 minutes from Dracula's castle and its very touristy surroundings. Relatively flat, but noisy because of the nearby road. The only advantage is that it is free compared with the one closer to the site, which costs €2 per hour during the day.
