Lovely and quiet place. As others described, that spot is blocked by landowner. However, we went from north (other side of the flow and railtrack) and it was equally quiet, beautiful and calm. A couple of dog-walkers but full peace.
We came via the town sòly, you can take a dirt road from there. Only suited for 4x4 tough. A couple of spots to park but decided to the spot on the photo’s as its the most remote place. No train passed de railroad. We took a shower with the water of the stream. Farming machines woke us up and 1 runner passed by. At the east exit there was a sigh for no walkers, dog etc.
The site is no longer accessible; barriers and prohibitions have been put up everywhere.
Quiet place, with some trees for shade. Clean river, no mosquitoes, too shallow for swimming but good for cooling off. A 10. Enter via the southern village mentioned to avoid the access closure. Even so, at the first few metres where the dirt road begins, there is a ban on motor vehicles, although there is no pedestrian traffic to disturb you if you get in. Thanks for finding this place!
**IMPORTANT UPDATE*** the owner of the adjacent land put up barriers at the access roads. I’m not sure it’s against campers, but he got annoyed with local dog walkers whose dogs disturbed his sheep. So right now it seems all access is blocked to this spot. :(
Right by the river, accessed via a farm or meadow track from the south. From the north it is a long, complicated route blocked by a pile of earth. Faint road noise, not disturbing.
Beautiful place, very private (max few passing people per day). despite the rails, there is hardly any train (max 1 per day or two days). Water from stream is clean and clear. 9/10, places like these need to be worshiped, pls do not forget to take your trash with you :-)
Weri nice place in the nature. Be sure to read the instructions and do not follow the route suggested by Google Maps ! We were woken up by a shepherd at 5am. He wanted us to move the car away from the river to the walnut tree because he needs the place at noon. We left at 8 and there was no sign of him or the sheeps anywhere around so I do not get why he had to wake us.
