Was not informed no facility before arrival. Plots are very small, basically a car park either EHU. Water available at €1 each time. Overnight was very noisy either nearby music going in till about 2am. Virtually no security. I left early.

Beautiful motorhome site, fully automatic check-in, paved pitches. Electricity and waste disposal included. Ideal for cycling in nature and close to central Ypres, definitely worth a visit.✦Translating

We have been coming here for thirteen years and it’s honestly getting worse. Since being sold to Urban gardens this site has gone up and up in price for nothing extra. Well if you can get in. They have such a rubbish entry system , most people give up and go somewhere else. I hope you’re listening urban gardens? I doubt they are. They are the most ineffective company I have ever dealt with.

Very complicated to get in: lots of information required and it was impossible to enter. We had to call several times, and besides, the voicemail speaks Flemish. We will have to think about returning; it used to be much better. Why change the old system?✦Translating

The site itself is perfectly fine and everything is available. The service and waste-disposal facilities are poorly maintained and smell. Unfortunately, there is a lot of noise: road, industrial and railway noise. Not recommended if you are sensitive to noise. The €16 price is too high. Check-in and check-out are fine.✦Translating

We rarely use this type of facility but it was great for 1 night with an early start the next day.

Great location and easy walk to Ypres. the numberplate recognition worked well. A shame the WC emptying point overflows at the nearby drain, yuck! edited to add: need an adapter for electricity. luckily we had one on board.

Calm place. Took place no 1 enough room, other spots a bit small, 30mins walk to Ypres. Difficult to access fresh water, need a short hose. Pity there’s no wc.

Very nice and clean site for a stopover; €18 is reasonable for that. A 20-minute walk into town—keep left and cross the bridge into town. After 250 m, on the left, there are Belgian fries for €5; one portion is barely manageable for two people.✦Translating

Well located 30 minutes from Ypres, water 1 euro for 5 minutes flow which isn’t the most powerful. Electricity included but continental adapter needed.Train and car noise in the day but stop overnight.Sideways pitches fine, lengthways pitches would be very cramped if full.

Great location. 15 minutes bike ride into Ypres. Pitches FAR too small. 4 vans expected to pitch less than 2 metres apart in one grassy area. If you’re lucky, you’ll get one of the two ‘sideways’ pitches. Price reflects the location.

The homepage was somewhat confusing, as it led us to the main campsite, but you can always find help among friendly campers. The site is more suitable for motorhomes. It is beautifully located, but the pitches are very tight. And there are no sanitary facilities.✦Translating

Main camp full. Offered this option by very friendly & helpful receptionist. Sort bike ride to town on cycleway or quiet streets. Very tidy and secure

Went to campsite in town who booked us into here for 18 euros as they were full. Was easy. A nice cycle to town. A bit tight for space but safe looking and clean

Stopped here a lot and it was always just ok. It’s noisy and a long walk into town. This time we were the only van here which says a lot. Another van did try and get in, but couldn’t get past the booking system. You also have to leave by 11am. Will probably not come back now, it’s over priced even out of season. I would never pay the summer prices .

Check-in by QR code, not straightforward because you have to fill in many details and, above all, not be too close to the barrier because the license plate is read before the barrier opens. Beautiful, quiet place, no trains at night. We were woken by birdsong! Nice walk around the nearby lake.✦Translating

The new owners still don’t seem to understand the concept of an aire. Now there is a new on line booking in system through QR code. You have to give all your details then specify the number of days you stay. After you give your life history the barrier is supposed to open and let you in. When it doesn’t ( I speak from experience) you have to phone them up and they give you a code. place is empty

Good area; we went only for the facilities. The tap says €1/5 minutes, about 100 liters of water, but it seems much less was supplied because our tank did not even fill halfway... who knows! Excellent recycling bins. Thank you very much!✦Translating
