A small overnight spot beside a playground and pond, close to town rather than in completely isolated countryside. Water flows from a source into the pond, and shopping in Waltershausen is 5min away. The playground toilet was recently locked, and the spot should be limited to no more than 2 self-contained campers. It may be occupied by nearby residents.

A rare natural spot in the area. Quiet, next to a pleasant little pond where many walkers come to spend time with children and dogs. Friendly people, with no complaints about our overnight stop. No more than two vehicles at a time to respect the environment. Pleasant village with all amenities.
Children's paradise, exactly between town and nature. Please do not overcrowd it! With more than two self-sufficient campers, the spot will quickly be ruined. The man responsible for the playground came at 8 p.m. to lock it and did not seem pleased. The pond is maintained by a local club. I stood fairly level in the position shown in the photo; the night was quiet. Not recommended for using camping chairs, vehicles over 7.5 m, or trucks.
Certainly a great little place, but when we arrived it was full of vehicles belonging to nearby residents. No chance to park, so we drove on.
A beautiful, quiet place, including a small pond with a jetty and benches for relaxing. The playground is a highlight for young and old. There is also a rubbish bin. Unfortunately, the toilets were locked.
Playground is very nice for kids. But you need to park on the parking lot close to the playground and there are houses very Close. So the pictures are a but misleading: it is in town and not in nature. Only space for 1 camper
