26 Rue du Beauvais, 89660, Mailly-le-Château
Been here?
A paved motorhome area on the upper part of the village, on a former campsite, with a children’s playground and a quiet setting. Access is through a gate, and a €5 Flot Bleu token from the town hall or a village bar provides the gate code and use of water and electricity. At present, access through the village is blocked by works; approach from below. The service area is spacious but its facilities have recently been reported as neglected.

Well done to the town hall for this camping area near the planetarium, thank you.
Super quiet place. Everything is available with a Flot Bleu token. You have to buy one at the town hall or at the bar in the village, Café de L'Espérance. €5 each. You then get the gate code. The gate may be open when you arrive, but you need the code if the planetarium is closed.
Attention, access through the village is currently impossible because of roadworks. Go underneath.
The village shopkeeper did not know that you had to buy a token to get the access code for entering the motorhome parking area. There is a phone number on site; I left a message, but nobody called me back. I went elsewhere.
A neglected campsite, but lots of space and peace and quiet. It is very disappointing that after much effort you manage to obtain a token and code at the town hall, only to find that the water is turned off—and nobody tells you. It is not about the €5 we lost, but about counting on being able to fill up with water, which is very difficult in France during the winter.
A very quiet area, at least in November.
The town has found a way to drive motorhomes away: simply mark the area properly with signs. Then, once there, write that a code is required and can be obtained from the village shopkeepers. The original idea is good, but having to turn around and go back for a code made us leave. What a shame.
It is a shame that the electrical hookups no longer work; we will have to return the tokens.
Very quiet place, with very friendly village shopkeepers, especially those at the small bar-tabac. I recommend it.
One star because I cannot give none! The area is closed by a barrier. You must get a code from the shops in the village center, which is inaccessible to large vehicles. Absolutely avoid!!!
We were standing in front of the locked gate at noon on Sunday and had no tokens to open it. We found no information about how to open the gate, so we drove on.
Concrete pitches. Electricity is available for payment with one or more Flot Bleu tokens, obtainable from local shops. Twenty minutes of water for one token at the gray- and black-water dump station. Good place for a quiet night.
Night of April 24. Very peaceful night in the countryside. There were two motorhomes. The area is very well located for visiting the quiet village and valley. Thanks to the municipality for this free pitch. Only electricity costs extra, using Flot Bleu tokens available from the town hall or local shops.
