Liverpool Road, CH7 3LW
Been here?
This quiet parking area offers relatively flat spaces, with larger vans able to stop before the main car-park barrier. Woodland walks and a small fishing pond are nearby, while dog walkers and fishermen use the area during the day. Some road noise is present, but recent overnight stays have been peaceful; there are no bins or toilets.

As others have said section before the barrier is fine for higher vans. Road noise little loud. Only van here. Fine.
Very quiet, no problems at all, just slightly uneven, okay for one night.
Quiet location, with a nice little walk. Could fit 2-3 larger vans in the first couple of spaces and a couple of smaller vans in the other spaces. We were told by one of the locals that they can fine you for staying over as there are no bins or toilets, but there are no signs to suggest you can't park, we had no issues from 4pm until 10am the morning after.
Parked here for one night. lovely spot. More or less flat. I couldn't fit under the barrier, so I went in one of the spaces before this. It was so peaceful there, I slept really well.
The height restriction is 1.93m into the main car park but there parking space outside the gate, the area is fantastic if you like woodland walks, it's popular spot for dog walkers, I am glad I stopped and took a walk in the beautiful forest, stayed the night with no problems.
Spent 1 night here, some road noise but was quiet overnight, fairly flat and had a lovely walk on part of the Heritage trail. Would note it is off Globe road not Liverpool road as per the postcode.
Quiet overnight, with some dog walkers and fishermen stopping by. Nobody but us stayed the night.
Good quite place ro spend the night. Some dog walkers during the day and in the morning
A very peaceful night here , popular with dog walkers, we stayed in the front car park as there's a height restriction barrier for the main car park . Had the company of two other campervans during the night , a very pleasant walk in the surrounding woodland , by 9.00pm it was very quiet so had a very good night's sleep , waking up to a fantastic dawn chorus of birds awesome .
Beautiful place to spend the night or simply park. Great starting point for hikes. Quiet night.
Great spot. Stopped here on a Friday night with 3 other vans. Quiet night, would use again.
I stayed on a Sunday night and at midnight the boy racers turned up doing doughnuts in the main space and 180 handbrake turns in the entrance in front of my van. Then at 2am a small group of cars arrived for about an hour sitting in a circle in the carpark with lights and music. Dreadful night.
Quiet and a good opportunity to walk the dogs. Many locals walking their dogs.
Nice parking off road in a wooded area. smaller Vans (VW) may be able to access larger car park under height barrier whilst for bigger vans, there is 6 spaces before this. We were the only van on our stop over stay, no issues. Nice woodland walks if you have dogs
Nice little place with 6 places outside barrier for larger vans.very little noise at night.one car came into the main car park around 2am and that was it.good circular walk for dogs with plenty of dog litter bins.we stayed here on way to Anglesey which is about another 40 mins drive
