848 Promenade du Soleil, 06500, Menton
Been here?
A roadside parking area opposite the beach and close to central Menton, but motorhome parking is currently prohibited during both the day and night. Municipal police confirmed this restriction on 2025-10-22. The location otherwise has public toilets, drinking-water dispensers, and easy access to the town.

The view is indeed superb, but motorhome parking is prohibited there during the day and of course at night. This was confirmed to us today by the municipal police.Translating
Roadside parking is probably only possible outside weekends and the tourist season. It is often very tight. I managed to find a space and it was very convenient for visiting the city.Translating
Good place to visit the city, with a wider bay than others seen locally. Free between noon and 2 p.m. and not expensive otherwise.Translating
Currently free, perfect for a van, and a perfect place to visit the city in the morning—it is very worth seeing—and take the train to Monaco in the afternoon. Top!Translating
I parked farther uphill on a side street and spent the night there. In December it was free at weekends, but it was extremely difficult to find a parking space. It was quite steep, but apparently nobody minded that I was there.Translating
Great spot to stop for a few hours and explore the town. We were fortunate to find parking here, paid about €3 for 3.5 hours which gave us enough time to swim directly across the street and walk the waterfront. Free public restroom 3 minute walk down the street.
Good for visiting the village. The road toward the other side offers the best views. In fact, at the end of that road there is a large open parking area where we spent the night without problems, although I was not allowed to add the location.Translating
A lot of parking in Menton unfortunately has a height limit, so this was a good option while visiting the city. We were here in low season, so we were able to find a free spot. It is a street parking alongside the road by the beach. You can pay at the parking machine or by parking app. Max permitted parking stay 3.5h. Between 12pm and 15pm the parking is free. 20minutes walk to the city centre.
Wide enough for a motorhome, but finding enough space at the roadside requires a lot of luck, and the pricing is unusual. Otherwise, there is a beautiful view and good access for a trip to Monaco. Bus 18 stops five minutes away and is worthwhile along the coast. Alternatively, it is a ten-minute walk to the train station. However, the trip then has to be quick because parking is limited to 3.5 hours.Translating
