Paved central area, no toilets

A beautiful and quiet motorhome site at the spa, which is currently closed for renovations, in the middle of the small town. Overnight stay with electricity for €15 plus tourist tax is perfectly reasonable. Highly recommended for exploring the small town and surroundings.✦Translating

The motorhome site is good and inexpensive. €15 per night, including €3 for 2 kWh of electricity, plus €3 tourist tax. With the guest card, bus travel is free and many things are discounted. Waste disposal is at the spa. The trash bin is behind the fence of the currently closed recycling center. Unfortunately, the Kyffhäuser Therme next to the site will remain closed until 2028.✦Translating

The town has done everything right here! Motorhome site in the middle of town yet idyllic, with everything needed for service/disposal and electricity. €23 per night for two adults and one child including tourist tax. Very friendly registration at the tourist information office. The spaces are slightly sloped, but leveling blocks solve the problem. Excellent starting point for hikes and sightseeing. Bad Frankenhausen itself is a well-maintained, lovingly designed town.✦Translating

We were surprised today that the entire site was empty when we arrived, even though the spa is still open until 28 February 2025. Since 2018, we have always enjoyed coming here to visit the spa and salt cave. In the evening, there was a public Christmas sing-along in the market square accompanied by a choir of 70 schoolchildren. A wonderful atmosphere with a great mood.✦Translating

Motorhome site in town, everything within walking distance, registration at the spa, €20 including tourist tax. The site by the wall is poorly maintained and has no shade. Toilets at the spa are available only during opening hours. We were looked at suspiciously even though we had paid for a pitch; were we supposed to carry the booking receipt every time? Some noise at night from mopeds and so on.✦Translating

The site itself is really beautiful and well located. That probably justifies the price of €23 for two adults and two children. However, there are hardly any waste-disposal options: two small hanging bins for all spaces. Above all, we were charged without any indication that the disposal station was out of order. We were very satisfied with the site; the price-performance ratio was right. Four kWh of electricity were included, and dogs are free. We spent two very quiet nights there. The walk to town and the spa is short. Toilets at the spa could be used free of charge, and there was a small discount on spa admission. I can only recommend the site.✦Translating
