Absolutely lovingly designed campsite and a very nice lady. The site is very large and currently has 6 motorhomes here. There is electricity and each pitch also has a fire pit. We paid £30 for 2 people and electricity. You can order breakfast and hire canoes. The site has its own jetty on the river. Absolutely fantastic!
Very nice campsite, spotlessly clean! You can hear the main road a little. There are 2 toilets, each with 2 small washbasins, and 2 showers in total; during the high season this will probably be a bit limited. Very friendly and helpful lady at reception. We paid £22 for 2 people in the motorhome and used £2 worth of electricity. Recommended.
Great campsite where we spent two nights. Perfect pitches, good atmosphere, very friendly welcome. An added bonus is the riverside walk and the excellent English breakfast. Clean facilities and the possibility of using the washing machine for £4. We recommend it.
Lovely site. Well maintained. Good facilities. Received a warm welcome.
Very friendly and well maintained. However, the “playground” consists only of a basketball hoop. It doesn’t matter, though, as the children have plenty of space on the generous grassy areas. A nice additional “garden” with picnic tables and lighting at night. The only drawback: the grey-water drain was not accessible for our motorhome.
Very well maintained, lots of space, very nice owners. Two showers, toilets, washing machines and dryers each. Showers and toilets are clean. When fully occupied, the services will be rather limited. £25 per night, plus services; washing machine and dryer £4. Currently very quiet.
Top motorhome pitch, lots of space for campers, with large gravel and grass pitches and practically no size restrictions due to the layout. Breakfast service and pizza night on Fridays. Super clean and well maintained.
Very nice place: welcoming, reasonable price (£25 for 2 adults and 2 children, including 4 shower tokens). Rustic but clean facilities, washing machines available. Possibility to play football on the plain and canoe as well. Good spot before Dover. We did not see the advertised morning café.
Lovely big pitches all with fire pits. River with launch decks and canoe hire on site. Host very friendly and helpful. Clean and warm facilities- food wagon and camp shop on site too. Highly recommend.
100% drop by here - lovely owners, great location - beautiful river with lots of wildlife, bike route, shops a walk along the river away.. plus good coffee made onsite! You can grab a cooked brekkie too. We highly recommend taking the boats out from here or taking your SUP out on the water. Our wagon is 9.1m 7.5t + alls good. Enjoy!
