Moor Lane, EX33 1NU, Croyde
Been here?
A simple, laid-back small campsite near the beach, with beautiful views and clean toilets and showers. It has no electricity, no level parking, and sits on a sloped field; vans and tents only, not motorhomes. The beach is a few minutes’ walk away, staff are friendly, and there is a small bar or open-air restaurant with occasional summer live music; a pitch for two adults costs about 36 quid.

It is okay considering the location. Almost by the sea, just a few minutes’ walk away. Still, for two adults with a camper it costs around £36, which is expensive. However, there was still space without any problem, which is not a given spontaneously during the season. You can choose your own pitch, but after one night we were boxed in by other vehicles. Very laid-back. Unfortunately, the meadow is very uneven. Too few toilets, with a queue in the morning. So everything is okay, but nothing special.Translating
My favourite little spot in Croyde Bay, just for the views & chilled atmosphere. Come here to switch off & enjoy the beach for a few days. Simple, but clean facilities & friendly staff. Nice little bar / open air restaurant too, which sometimes has live music in summer. If you surf or bodyboard, this is the spot for you! Wetsuit hire £10/24hrs, camping £17pppn.
