Free, open parking along the river beside a bar, about 10 minutes’ walk from the cathedral. Recent reports mention a vehicle break-in, and people advised returning before dark. It is shaded and quiet, but vehicles over 3.5 tonnes are prohibited.

Seems quiet, plenty of space, partly shaded, but we turned around: when entering the parking area, the only suspicious vehicle was a French Fiat Scudo whose passenger window had been smashed and belongings stolen. At your own risk!
Free parking close to the center. We did not sleep there, but it is fine for spending the day. We found a space easily.
We spent one night here; it was perfect! Shaded, quiet, and close to nature. However, beware that vehicles over 3.5 tonnes are prohibited.
