Everything has already been said. A very beautiful place to stay.Translating
Great place for the night! Located on a green meadow, with several motorhomes parked around us. By bicycle, the town was five minutes away. It is right by the outdoor swimming pool, where you can possibly take a shower. Quiet apart from a few train noises. Recommended overall!Translating
You can park on a meadow directly behind the swimming pool. Showers are available at the pool. Twenty minutes on foot to the beautiful town.Translating
Very quiet place to spend the day or sleep. No bins or toilets. Fifteen minutes' walk from the center. There is a supermarket five minutes away on foot. The swimming pool has a hot shower for €4.Translating
The second photo does not belong to the parking area at the swimming pool; there is a sign saying cars only. Nevertheless, many motorhomes have parked here.Translating
Great location. We spent a quiet night next to the Weser cycle path.Translating
Great place on a meadow behind the outdoor pool parking area. Possibility to cook outside. You occasionally hear trains passing, but otherwise we had a very quiet night. In the morning we went to the pool for swimming and showers. We would stay here again anytime.Translating
Wonderful overnight stay. The town center is a 20-minute walk away. In the morning we enjoyed swimming laps in the pool. €4 per person, including a hot shower.Translating
When we arrived, there were suddenly eight other campers here. We slept well and had a quiet night.Translating
We spent a long weekend here. We simply parked in the parking area, which is certainly no problem in late autumn, and we were alone there all weekend. The route into town through the allotment gardens is easy to walk.Translating
Very average stopover. Youths on scooters with balaclavas and sunglasses a little disconcerting, lots of other campers here so was ok. Railway noisy but didn’t wake us. Can imagine when skate park is used it would be noisy, we parked near skate park and cars arrived at 7am to walk dogs and were not trying to be quiet when the shut their doors. Free though so a bonus I guess. Translating
We spent a quiet and pleasant night here on our way north.Translating
For a free motorhome parking area, this place has a lot to offer. The meadow is large and level. Once the swimming pool closes in the evening, it becomes quiet. There is shade under the large trees in the evening.Translating
Perfect. We spent the weekend here, on the grass under the trees. About ten motorhomes and some cars, but the place is quiet and pleasant. Of course, you can hear children shouting in the pool, but it is not unpleasant! You can also hear the train, but it is not disturbing.Translating
Motorhomes and cars park haphazardly. Completely overcrowded parking area and meadow. Noisy people and partying teenagers in the evening. Honking cars. The railway line opposite can also be heard clearly at night.Translating
Perfect place for a short stay!Translating
Great overnight stop on the way north.Translating
Nice meadow; in good weather, many cars park here because of the outdoor pool. The pool closes at 8 p.m., after which it becomes quiet.Translating
Quiet at night. Green. Close to town. Free. You can only give it five stars. According to Google, the location is the green meadow. The photo with the parking-ticket sign for motorhomes is from the parking area in town on the island. Perhaps some comments belong there too...Translating
A beautiful meadow without any facilities; satellite reception is not possible everywhere because of the tall trees. There is activity in the parking area during the day because the outdoor pool is open, but it did not bother us. Very quiet in the evening and at night. Ten minutes on foot through the allotment gardens to the very impressive historic old town.Translating
A group of guys started pushing the camper van and bothering us at 10 p.m. Dark car park, it seemed quiet and there were other campers. Unfortunate. We moved somewhere elseTranslating
A spacious and seemingly quiet car park, but somewhat untidy and unpleasant. Lots of dog walkers. About 1.5 km to the center. Probably a good place to spend the night, but it did not seem nice enough for me to stay.Translating
Free, paved, level parking area. You can hear the train and some drivers speeding across the lot. Good for one night.Translating
Travel dates: September 6–7, 2024. Great free motorhome parking area. Perfectly fine for an overnight stay.Translating
Cute little free meadow next to a swimming pool parking area. Clean and well maintained. It was quiet and there was not much going on (travel dates August 31–September 1, 2024). A 2.5-kilometer circular route for walking the dog. At the swimming pool, you can shower from 8 a.m. for €2. A bakery and Greek restaurant are within walking distance.Translating
The place is okay, and the option to use the showers at the outdoor pool for €2 is good too. Nevertheless, when the skaters are doing their rounds, the peace and quiet is over.Translating
Really fantastic for a free place, although during our stay the main area was completely flooded, which was an extreme situation. We stayed quietly and dry at the end of the area on the gravel by the skate park. It is great that places like this exist; for a small fee, we probably could have used the shower and toilet at the swimming pool from 8 a.m....Translating
