A paid daytime parking area for hikers, with public toilets and access to walks towards the Aosta refuge and Lake Place-Moulin. The fee is 3.50 euro per day for a van and 9 euro for a camping car. Overnight stays are prohibited here, although a separate lower parking area by the dam reportedly allows them. Access is possible for campers up to 7.40, but the road is somewhat narrow.

Beautiful for hiking. No overnight stays.
Attention... there are two parking areas and both require payment!!! In the lower one, where the dam gate is, you can stay overnight; in the upper parking area, daytime parking only, and the local police check. Toilets and a bar are available. The road is accessible to motorhomes up to 7.4 m, but it is a little narrow; avoid peak hours.
Overnight stays inside vehicles are prohibited (it says so on the sign next to the parking meter).
Parking costs €3.50 per day (24 hours) for a van, €9 for a motorhome.
