Been here?
Grassy area five minutes' walk from port and city center. All services included but not all spots have electricity and parking spots are not clearly delimited. Grassy areas become inaccessible when wet. €12/night. Very popular.

Lots of grass. Well located. We cycled to Saint-Palais-sur-Mer. The ride was great. All services at a reasonable price. It is true that the pitches are completely unrestricted. I imagine that when it is full, vehicles must indeed cross paths between occupants.
The only positive thing is the location. Negatives: spaces are not marked, there is not enough electrical supply for everyone, and when we arrived around 6 p.m. the payment terminal screen was impossible to read. Everyone parks however they want, with tables and chairs outside, leaving no electrical outlets or space for others. Pitches are packed together, very poorly managed and there is no layout marking. I will not return. Avoid this kind of area.
Motorhome area close to the port and restaurants; the town centre is 15 minutes away. It is a shame that the pitches are not marked.
Top-class motorhome area at the campsite, well located, close to the port and good restaurants, but of course very popular. All services are available, but note that the ticket and payment machine is inside. Second or third visit. We stayed two nights and spent 2 February walking along the Gironde, with troglodyte caves and Plage des Nonnes, which is currently very cluttered with rubbish and tree trunks.
€12 per 24 hours, everything included: water and electricity. In rainy weather the pitches on the grass are inaccessible, but there is space on the hardened pitches in this season.
Well-located, quiet area. It is a shame that not all the pitches are properly marked.
Very good area. Well located for going to the port or town centre. Excellent fishmonger opposite the church, making beautiful seafood platters at good prices. Area costs €11.50 per night, all included.
Perfect place, including electricity and Wi-Fi. It is just a shame that there are no toilets for smaller campers. Recommended.
Area very close to the port. A short walk takes you to the centre. Pitches with electricity. Water service with easy access, even for large motorhomes.
Area with all services, well located.
A very clean area. Pizza vending machine next to the area, and a washing machine too—great. Not far from the village. Thank you.
Excellent area with all services, close to the port and village with essential shops. It is a shame that squatters occupy two spaces; the photo with the black car is still there today.
Beautiful, quiet and well-equipped area, with very good value for money; electricity, water and Wi-Fi included. The only drawback is that there are few spaces and they are not marked, with some motorhomes staying a long time alongside a car.
Nice site near the harbour. Very quiet and safe. The surface is partly gravel and partly grass. Service point, electricity and Wi-Fi are available and included in the price. Very good restaurants at the harbour. A few minutes to the city centre, supermarket and petrol station. Note: the payment machine is on the right behind the barrier; it prints the PIN for the barrier.
The spaces absolutely need to be marked. Motorhomes park carelessly, often with a car alongside, and stay for several weeks. Unacceptable. There should also be a warning when it is full!!!
Very good, an area belonging to the campsite. Very quiet and good value for money.
Beautiful area, very quiet and good value for money! It is a shame that the pitches are not marked. The cassette toilet emptying station needs cleaning.
Very quiet, well-equipped area, more than reasonable price, including electricity, unlimited water and Wi-Fi. Thank you to the municipality. Fortunately, not everyone is a grumbler.
An area that could be pleasant, but it is impossible to find a space because all the motorhomes are parked carelessly, occupying three spaces. Complete anarchy, and people act as if they own the place and look down on you.
Very nice area, worth discovering. Thank you, it is really good. The Wi-Fi is no inconvenience for us, which is why having a router is useful; the motorhome is our home.
Beautiful, quiet area, very well located for the region and reasonably priced. However, it is impossible to connect to the Wi-Fi.
Beautiful area, very quiet and good value for money! We will return…
Superb motorhome area.
Excellent, every comfort, very friendly owner.
Very well located, close to the port. All services. Ideal with bicycles.
You have to wonder whether this is a motorhome area or a car park! Otherwise, if you find a space, it has all services and the port next door. It will become increasingly difficult if every motorhome has a vehicle and parks it in the space instead of the outside car park!
The advantage is its proximity to the centre of Meschers-sur-Gironde, the port and the walking routes with beautiful views.
It is not easy to park in rainy weather! In addition, some people take two spaces; if you have the misfortune of parking too close to them, they glare at you as if ready to pounce! So do not talk to me about motorhome owners’ solidarity.
I paid to guarantee a space, but that was not the case. Five minutes cost €11.50. It seems that few people respect the site, behaving as if they were alone in the world. The lack of consideration shown by some users is truly deplorable, and the atmosphere is bitter. In addition, cars are parked on the pitches, meaning they occupy two spaces……
Quiet area close to the port and shops. Spaces are not marked, so some people take advantage of this, which is a shame.
Sorry I entered this area. It is reserved for long-term squatters; the instructions displayed at the entrance are not respected and people spread out as much as possible.
Beautiful, well-maintained area.
Very good pitch. It is true that the area could accommodate more motorhomes, but the law imposes a limited number depending on the location and acreage, with capacity agreed with the town. So it is not because one motorhome owner sets up with a trailer and awning that the next ones cannot enter. The surrounding area is worth visiting.
As long as parking areas do not establish rules, it will always benefit certain people. As proof, I could not find a space while some had three: motorhome, Renault Captur and a mat on the other side with a table. It is absurd. And yet the area is perfectly good. So, if I understand correctly, we can all come with a trailer and car. Excellent.
Very good area, very well located, which we visit regularly. It is a non-municipal area belonging to the campsite; the owner is very friendly. I recommend it.
No more space, unfortunately motorhome owners take two spaces so they are not too close to others. This area could be good if motorhome owners did their part.
Thank you to the municipality for providing this parking area on grass. It is inexpensive and electricity is included. The spaces are not marked, so some selfish people take up a lot of room.
Beautiful, completely new area, with good mountain views. To enter, you have to register in an app (PVerde). The first 72 hours are free, with electricity and filling and emptying facilities. Very grateful to the town hall for offering us such a place.
